Hey, P-BO! You have a country to run, man!

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, America, Congress, Iran, Iraq, Israel, P-BO, Politics, government, health care

WTF is up with P-BO running off to Copenhagen trying to drum up support for Chicago to get the freakin’ olympics?

Dude – you have a country to run – or have you forgotten:

1.   Iraq – we’re still at war there buddy

2.  Afghanistan – we’re still at war there too – and – the general you appointed sent you a request for more troops over a month ago.  Don’t you think you should at least answer him?

3.  Iran – they’re in the process of building nukes and your guys are telling the rest of the world that Iran is still working towards a peaceful nuke program.  Umm…this time we have France and Germany behind us – unlike Iraq.  If you don’t take care of this – Israel will.

4.  Did you forget there is also a major health care reform debate going on in this country?  I thought this was your “baby”?

5.  Oh – and – by the way – we’re still in a very deep recession.  Your idiotic stimulus bill hasn’t done anything.  Unemployment continues to rise, the trade deficit continues to widen, foreclosures continue to rise, banks still are not lending to ordinary folks, and the only sector growing is government – they’re expecting to fill 273,000 positions by 2012.  Seriously, do you think you can deal with this?

6.  Congress is continuing to spend like drunken sailors, every bill coming out continues to add to the deficit, and the Fed is printing money like crazy.  Serious inflation is just around the corner and the rest of the world is seriously pushing now to move away from the dollar – I think this is a little more important than trying to get the Olympics in gangstaland U.S.A.

7.  Social Security effectively will become insolvent by the end of next year – don’t you think this deserves your attention?

Seriously, P-BO – given all of the above, America probably won’t even exist in 2016, especially if the world moves away from the dollar and Iran completes their nuke weapons.  Neither Illinois nor America would be able to afford to host the Olympics.  One last thing – given that it costs $86,000/hr to operate Air Force One – who the hell is footing this bill?  Since there is absolutely no reason for you to be there – it is not official U.S. business.  I fully expect you to send the bill to Chicago because I sure as hell don’t want to pay for yet another vacation and wasteful spending by idiots in like you in D.C.

One last thing – can you explain these? What exactly have you done to sell out America to China that they are comparing you to Mao?

The BoBo Carnival of Politics – June 28, 2009 Edition

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: America, BoBo, Carnival, Congress, Conservative, Education, Elections, Iran, Israel, Liberals, Obama, Politics, Public School System, Russia, School, globalization, government, libertarian, marxism

Quite the week we’ve had so far! Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now Billy Mays all dead.  Unfreakin’ believable!  I wish piece of shit crap and tax bill would have died as well!  Anyway – after a two week hiatus – The BoBo Carnival of Politics is back with another great edition.  Have at it people!

Conservative

The Smarter Wallet presents Dave Ramsey’s Town Hall For Hope posted at The Smarter Wallet, saying, “How does Dave Ramsey explain the financial crisis?”

You’ll see below in response to your credit card discussion that I mentioned I already paid off a few cards and have one left before I’m out of debt.  I went through the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University.  Dave Ramsey is awesome and what you have on your blog is absolutey right.  Once again, great post using a great resource.  I highly recommend it to anybody to view his Town Hall video and his Financial Peace University – especially in today’s economy.

Michael Bass presents Joe Tegerdine VS Gene Taylor! The Battle For Mississippi’s 4th Congressional District! posted at Debt Prison, saying, “Every now and then a person runs for office that gives us hope. For many voters in the last election Barack Obama was that person. Obama promised ambiguous ‘Change’ and the people bought it. Unfortunately, for many Obama fans and devout Democrats, his foreign policy actions and his further crack down on civil liberties has come to resemble something like George Bush part II.”

Interesting – hopefully, Tegerdine turns out to be a true conservative then maybe he can defeat that faux Democratic Conservative Taylor.

lsm presents Teddy?s Legacy Will Kill Us All posted at awaken the elephants blog.

LSM – excellent.  I have nothing further to add to this.

Scott Spiegel presents U.S. Invents Diabolical Weapon Called “Twitter” to Bring Down Iranian Regime posted at Scott Spiegel, saying, “President Obama said last week that he doesn’t want the U.S. to be seen as “meddling” in the recent Iranian presidential election. In his view, vocally supporting the protesters is comparable to the CIA’s coup against Mossadeq in 1953.”

Amen, brother!  We should be standing behind the Iranian citizens with the full faith and trust of our government and our own citizens.  Obama is wrong on this one.

Liberal

Madeleine Begun Kane presents Don’t Ask. Don’t Tell. Just Sign! posted at Mad Kane’s Political Madness.

Mad Kane – I’m sure I don’t need to say this – personally – I think this needs to be repealed entirely and have it back to what it was before Clinton instituted the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.  The UCMJ states that sodomy is a punishable offense as is any other forms of homosexual relations.  We don’t need gays OPENLY serving in the military.  This would be a huge bust for the morale of our military.  I’m sorry – but – the military is by no means ready for this and it would not be accepted.

Libertarian

Wenchypoo presents Just When You Thought You Ran Out of Hope posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket.

Bwahaha – Liberty Lentils – good one.

Miscellaneous

Bob Brooks presents Wall Street Execs Living Large While the Rest of the Country Hurts posted at Bob Brooks – Prudent Money Blog.

Don’t forget – Timothy “Turbo Tax” Geithner is a Goldman Sachs alumni himself and still has buddies there.  Nothing will be done.  Just more paybacks from this administration for these company’s providing material support for Obama.

Mikkal Travvis presents Ron Paul And The Federal Reserve posted at The Truth.

I don’t generally tend to side with Ron Paul on many issues.  I think he’s a nutjob with a lot of his positions.  However, I support him 100% with regards to doing away with the Federal Reserve and having them open their books.  The decision in the 30’s to hand over that much power to a private organization was by far one of the most idiotic things this country and our government has ever done.  It’s time to take that power away from them.

News

Terri Choate presents Trickle Down Learning posted at Plum Duff…not your ordinary gruel!, saying, “Maybe this is old news…but school districts regularly understate the money spent per pupil as they ask for more, more, more.”

Great article.  Public schools happens to be one of my “soap-box” issues.  While I don’t know what the per pupil cost is in my district – we have multiple layers of administration that are totally unnecessary.  Since when does a High School and Middle School need a freakin Assistant Principle for each grade and each of them having a secretary, etc etc – not to mention each grade having at least 2 “administrators” that handle discipline.  It’s gotten so ridiculous that most of our tax money goes to paying salaries instead of purchasing text books.  I sent four kids through public school.  2 graduated and 2 dropped out.  I’m sending my last 2 to private schools now.

Bradley Hankins presents Who Is Back? posted at Bradley Hankins, saying, “You was wondering when I was going to start up again. Well here I am.”

Welcome Back Bradley – looking forward to your analysis of the various bills.

The Smarter Wallet presents Applying For A Credit Card? Review The Credit Card Bill of Rights posted at The Digerati Life, saying, “Obama just signed into law some regulations that will help curb some of the unpopular practices done by the credit industry. Here’s what’s in the credit card bill of rights, which is under review by our government.”

Great words of advise for those who are thinking about getting a credit card.  I already cut up all mine and have paid them off.  I have one more to go then I’m out of credit card hell.  My advise is – use cash!  If you can’t afford to pay for it in cash – well – then in today’s economy – you really can’t afford it at all then.  Save for it instead.

Politics

Bradley Hankins presents Common Sense Foreign Policy: North Korea posted at Bradley Hankins, saying, “Common sense dealings with North Korea. Even more to come, just one was just too easy.”

You are absolutely right – we should not be looking to the international community to protect ourselves.  That is just plain ridiculous.  Great post.

NAOMI presents NEW AD AGAINST BENEFIT THIEVES posted at Diary From England.

Naomi – I’ll have to admit that I haven’t been paying real close attention to exactly what is going on over on your side of the big pond.  However, I have been following Daniel Hannen pretty closely so I get the point.  Unfortunately, we’re seeing a similar situation here in the U.S. – rather than second homes – our politicians get lifelong benefits and 100% salary after they retire and that even gets passed on to their spouses after they die and then the spouses collect 100% benefit and salary until they die.  Pretty freakin ridiculous that these politicians consider themselves so elite they can steal from we the people.

Bradley Hankins presents Transparency posted at Bradley Hankins, saying, “Honestly, putting legislation in plain English would help so much.”

Agreed!  However, this administration that promised transparency has given us none at all.

Jake presents Why the World Hates America (Part 1) posted at Global Implications, saying, “Given the negative attitude toward the United States around the world, I am writing a multi-part series on the actions of the US since World War II with the worst consequences. I will post an article every day and should finish the seven-part series on Friday, June 26.”

Jake – I hope you don’t mind but I took the liberty to post the links to the remaining articles.  This is a very interesting analysis.  However, I would say that we still have many more friends and allies than we do enemies.  It seems our only real enemies in the world are radical regimes. Please post up the last remaining parts in next week’s carnival! Personally, regarding Part 5 – I think we need to “unflinchingly” support Israel.  They are our only true ally in the middle east.  Being a former Hebrew Linguist in the Air Force – I understand Israel and the day-to-day struggles they have to face.  They are under constant terrorist attack every day.  They need our support and we should stand behind them all the way.

Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5

Ram Raghavan presents The incorrectness of political correctness posted at ramraghav.com, saying, “What is political correctness? What is its cause and its consequence?”

Ram – you are so totally right on with this post.  The only thing I would add here is that the history of Political Correctness actually has its roots in marxism and Russia.  Here’s another good resource for you on the history.

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of the bobo carnival of politics using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.

BoBo weighs in on Teh One’s pandering speech to Muslims

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, America, Anti-Christian, Islamofascists, Israel, Liberals, Nutjob, Obama, Paleoswineans, Pedophiles, Politics, President, Religion, Terrorists, war on terror

Well – with everyone else out there today commenting on this speech in Cairo today – I guess I need to put in my two cents.  I was a little too busy today to wake my ass up at 6 am to listen to this nutjob – so – I read the official whitehouse transcript.  Can you actually believe they titled this idiotic speech?  “A New Beginning.”  Bwahahahaha!  The only new beginning for those islamofascist bastards is to just nuke the whole damned region and turn it in to one big sheet of glass.

After having read this piece of shit – all I can really say is BULLSHIT!!!!!  Fucking asshole out blaming the previous administration and America for everything that is wrong in this world.  This guy really hates our country.  It is readily apparent now that he puts Muslims ahead of Americans the way he pretty much gave them all an oratory blow-job in praising those murderous bastards for shit they never did.  The only “cultural” contributions that muslims have ever provided this world is death and slaughtering anybody that does not believe as they.

Everything that he attributed to muslim culture actually is credited to other ancient cultures – medicine and tracking the spread of disease – that is ancient Greece.  Hippocrates was one of the first to document what we now know as bacterial spread of disease.  Algebra is attributed to ancient Greeks – and lastly – Arches – really?  This great architectural accomplishment is attributed to ancient Romans.  I guess Obama has never seen the aquaducts.

He further goes on to throw our only true allies – Israel – under the bus.  Those paleoswineans have no rights to the Israeli lands.  Israel was the first true occupants of that land thousands of years before those nomadic camel humpers ever heard of it.  Palestine did not become a “people” or nation until after the U.N. charter that gave the lands back to the Israelis.  Furthermore, Teh One tried to compare the German slaughter of millions of Jews to the plight of the Palestineans.  You got to be freakin’ kidding me!!!!

He says he “unequivocably prohibited the use of torture in the United States.” WTF?  Torture has ALWAYS been prohibited in the U.S.  You are such a dick!  WATERBOARDING IS NOT TORTURE!!!  Thousands of our owns soldiers have been waterboarded as part of our training.  It was Clinton who defined torture in 1994 and codified in the U.C.R.  Obama did not prohibit torture – freakin America prohibited torture years ago – well before Barack Hussein Obama was ever born.  Asshole.  He also stated that we over-reacted as a result of 9/11 and that we did not act appropriately!  BULL SHIT!  America has the right to defend itself and its people in any manner we see fit.  Fuck you libtards if you think otherwise.  Are we supposed to just sit around and wonder when the next attack will be and blame ourselves for the actions of pedophile ass fuckers that hate us?  This is why Obama is dangerous for this country.  He doesn’t believe America should ever defend itself.  He believes we should look to the “international community” first for “diplomatic solutions.”  Fuck you, Obama.  These islamofascist bastards murdered thousands of innocent Americans for absolutely no reason.  Obama needs to quit playing footsy with these people – oh wait – they’re HIS people.  I can guarantee you that the next attack on American soil by these scumbags will go unanswered by Obama.  He believes as they do.  Just look at the latest example – he sends U.S. Marshalls to protect abortion clinics after a baby killer is killed – yet – he does absolutely nothing after a brave American soldier was shot in cold blood outside of a recruiting office by a Muslim terrorist.  His priorities are all fucked up.

He mentioned that America and Islam are interdependent – well – guess what – we wouldn’t have to be if that asshole and those libtards in Congress would allow us to actually use our own natural resources and nuclear power to become completely and 100% energy independent.  These slimebags that he spoke to are the same assholes that keep funding these terrorist organizations from the oil money that Americans pay them.  We’re in essence funding our own death by not kicking these assholes to the curb.  It’s libtards like Obama that are keeping us at their mercy.

And – my only other thought on this is – if his muslim heritage was so off limits during the campaign to the point that anybody who ever dared utter his middle name was crucified in public – why is it now okay for him to brag about his muslim past in front of these slime bags?  What the hell was he trying to accomplish?  It appears to me that he sees himself as Muslim before American.  He quoted the Koran so many freakin’ times in his speech it was sickening.  He may as well have gotten on his knees and either jerked or sucked them all off – cuz – that’s really what he did.  This President is not an American.  All he did in this speech is make Muslims look great and Americans and Israelis look like the purveyors of all the woes in the world.  He kept referring to Islam as a religion of peace!  Bull – fucking – shit!!!!  Their bible – the Koran consistently urges Muslims to kill all non-believers of Muhammed and Islam – you know – we infidels.

A new beginning my ass! Looks like the same old libtard shit to me.

nuff said!

Obama driving the U.S. towards Fascism at record pace!

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, America, China, Christian, Congress, Conservative, Constitution, Democrats, Elections, Fascism, Freedom, Iran, Islamofascists, Israel, Liberals, Obama, Paleoswineans, Politics, President, Russia, Socialism, Taxes, US Constitution, government

From Merriem-Webster’s

Main Entry:
fas·cism
Pronunciation:
\ˈfa-ˌshi-zəm also ˈfa-ˌsi-\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
Italian fascismo, from fascio bundle, fasces, group, from Latin fascis bundle & fasces fasces
Date:
1921

1.often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

After the latest government takeover of private industry – I am no longer stating that Obama is leading us towards socialism. He has in fact proven that he is following in Mussolini, Hitler, and FDR’s footsteps and moving this country towards Fascism at a speed that is almost uncontrollable. While FDR certainly was moving towards Fascism and was a great admirer of Mussolini – not even FDR has accomplished the feat that Obama has in less than six months.

It has now gotten so bad in this country that we have China, Russia, and Germany telling us to stop heading towards socialism. Of all the countries to warn the U.S. about it’s socialist tendencies right now – Russia and China? I think they have it wrong anyway – Obama is a Fascist – not a socialist. Socialists take over private business and run everything and make all the decisions for the benefit of the collective. Fascists “partner” with private business and will provide an allusion that the private organization is in control – but in the end – makes all the business decisions – not for the good of the people – but for the good of the government elite.

You guys on the left kept calling Bush a fascist because he supported big business. That just means that you really did not understand the definition of Fascism nor did you study history and the rise and fall of Mussolini and Hitler. These guys were the epitome of Fascist. They took over all private business. Left the corporations in place – but partnered with the CEO’s of those businesses. All production was to the benefit of the government. Under a socialist regime – all production is for the benefit of the people and work and profit are equally distributed.

I want you to really look at what has happened to our auto industry, finance industry, and insurance industry. The government has taken ownership of the largest of these corporations (GM, Chrysler, Bank of America, AIG, etc.) Those banks that took the TARP money are not even allowed to give it back now. If Obama wasn’t in the business of nationalizing our financial system – why aren’t the banks now allowed to become private businesses again? Look at what Obama did to Chrysler – He fired their CEO and also made cuts to their advertising budget. That is the definition of fascist government control over private industry. Same thing for AIG – he feigned outrage over the bonuses – yet – he had complete control over the fates of every single individual working at AIG. He knew all the details – yet – he needed to demonize the industry for the people to cry out. This allowed Obama to take over AIG – no questions asked.

Obama says he doesn’t want to run the auto companies and said on Monday that government will only be involved in the “fundamental decisions.” People – wake the hell up! The most fundamental decisions of any business IS the business. He plans on being involved at every level of decision making with GM. If that weren’t true – then why the hell does he have some totally unqualified 31-year-old kid with absolutely no economic experience, no private industry experience, and no auto-industry experience controlling the fate of GM?

Next on the horizon for Obama’s fascist takeover America is our healthcare system and energy sector. The latest poll states that 80% of Americans are satisfied with their insurance coverage. Why the hell would we allow the government to control of something that the majority of Americans are actually happy with? Once government takes over health care – they can now dictate every aspect of our life – if you don’t believe me – just ask anybody who has been through the Canadian or British Health Systems. Your ability to access healthcare will be based on your health – are you a smoker? are you obese? do you eat more red meat than you should? How old are you? etc. Socialized medicine is based on a system of rationing and there are very strict guidelines as to who will be covered under that system. I urge you to google it yourselves – I could give you thousands of links of examples of this. I have a British family living next to me and the wife is a former nurse for the BHS. She is now a nurse here in the U.S.. Since my wife is a nurse as well – we often have lots of discussion regarding a comparison of the BHS and our system here. She felt stifled as a nurse under the BHS because while she really wanted to provide care to her patients – the government had strict control over what care could be provided depending on the individual’s socioeconomic position and general health.

If you don’t think this is possible – just read the provision of the new HITECH Act under the ARRA. This will require that EVERY physician and health care provider be on electronic medical records by 2014. As part of that requirement – a national database will be created and maintained by the federal government. EVERY EMR system in America will be linked to that national database. You want to talk about “Big Brother!” You will no longer have health care privacy in America. The government will have access to and will maintain every piece of health information about you. This system will also have real-time capabilities for the government to direct your physician during your visit. The government will be deciding your course of treatment – not your physician. Do you still think that Obama is not a Fascist? He will now decided what kind of car you drive, who gets loans from the banks, who gets insured, and who gets appropriate health coverage. Having control over the health care system – he will also be able to control what foods we eat. He will use the FDA and EPA to regulate the national food supply. Don’t believe me? How many times have you read something in the news about one of those lefty states trying to regulate through food taxes or placing bans on certain foods? The FDA and EPA will ensure those bans because the national healthcare database has provided evidence that supports their bans.

Lastly – well, as far as what we know right now to be lastly – with the Cap & Trade scheme that Obama is proposing – the smart grid will also control your thermostats in your homes. You will no longer have control over your own home. Obama said it himself – check that link. This Cap & Trade will also be utilized to dictate policy over the auto industry that the government controls. They will be able to use these regulations to push cars on us that we don’t want.

I know this sounds a bit conspiratorial – but – you have to look at the evidence so far. None of this can be blamed on Bush any longer. Obama has now spent more in 6 months than every administration in the previous 30 years. How the hell can you blame that on Bush? Obama has tripled the national debt in less than 6 months and this year alone plans on borrowing $2 Trillion!!!!!! He had a budget deficit of $850 Billion when he came in to office. You can no longer blame this on Bush. While I did not agree with much of what Bush did – he certainly did not push us in to economic failure of this magnitude. CMBlake has another good link to illustrate this point as well.

I don’t know what the answers are – but – I do know one thing – if this continues – we won’t make it to the 2010 elections to change it. We’re on a path towards Fascism with Obama controlling every aspect of our lives. He is in the process of destroying capitalism and the greatest country in the world. If you didn’t click on that link for the article from Russia – I highly recommend you go back up there and read their dire warning. The politicians are in his pocket – Dems and Republicans. There are now reports out there that even the MSM is scared to oppose Obama – that’s why we don’t see any negative news coverage about Obama and that’s why the MSM will never ask him any hard questions.

Is it any wonder that Chavez had no problem walking up to Obama and giving him that “present?” Chavez recognizes Obama for who he is – a bird of a feather. Obama is doing the same thing Chavez did – But on a grander scale! Is it any wonder that Obama goes around the world and tells foreign leaders what a horrible country America is? Is it any wonder that Obama sides with the Palestineans over Israel? Does it surprise anybody at all that Obama now supports Iran obtaining nukes?  Does it surprise anybody that even today Obama stated to a muslim audience America is “one of the largest muslim countries in the world.”  WTF?  We are not a muslim country – we are a nation built on Christian principles with a Constitution upon which our laws are based – not freakin’ Sharia law. Irate Nate weighs in on this issue as well.

Elections have consequences – and – now we’re all suffering because of ignorance at the polls.

The BoBo Carnival of Politics – April 26, 2009 Edition

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, America, Carnival, Civil Rights, Congress, Conservative, Constitution, Democrats, Duh, Fascism, Illegal immigrants, Iran, Israel, Liberals, Mexicans, Obama, Politics, President, Socialism, blogs, government, libertarian, marxism

Hello again everyone. What a fine weekend this is! Well, at least here in the Sunshine state it is. We’ve had quite a few submissions this week. Given all the news of last week – it doesn’t surprise me at all. We also have a more diverse group of submissions as well to choose from this week. Surprisingly, given this past week was Earth Week and Earth Day was celebrated on Wednesday – not one post about global warming! Thank you for not putting me through that. LOL.  I think you will enjoy them all. If you agree, or even disagree, with what these bloggers have to say – why don’t you head on over to their place(s) and leave them a comment. I’m sure they will appreciate it.

Also – I know I have a tendency to drown out some of the submissions with all of my additional chatter and comments.  I promise I’ll keep them more brief!

Conservative

Steve Parry presents Obama Focuses On Real Threat… Credit Card Companies posted at The Axis of Stevil.

Those damned evil credit card companies!  I’m sure if the Obama administration waterboarded those bank executives, waterboarding wouldn’t be considered torture!

Silicon Valley Blogger presents Does Achieving Wealth Make You “Upper Class”? Facts About Class posted at The Digerati Life, saying, “Thanks!”

I like your detailed explanation of the classes.  When I first read this – my first thought was about lottery winners.  If you were white trash before you won those millions – you’re still white trash when you get the millions.  Money doesn’t change who you are – just the amount of stuff you can buy.

The Smarter Wallet presents Positive Personal Financial Planning Strategies During A Down Economy posted at The Smarter Wallet.

These are all great tips.  I’m currently in the process of getting rid of all my debt.  I’ve already cut up my credit cards.  But – one thing I will NEVER do is buy stock in GE.  I don’t care whether they recover or not.  The fact that Immelt is using his assets (NBC, CNBC, MSNBC) to control the message, elect Obama, push Obama’s cap-and-trade initiatives, only to further the advancement of GE and become a quasi-government controlled entity just doesn’t sit right with me.

Democrats

Yoav B presents Barack Obama’s military history posted at Israeli Soldier’s LIFE & THOUGHTS, saying, “Barack Obama and IDF…. YES YES YES!”

Shalom Yoav and Welcome to the Carnival.  I have a great respect for the IDF unlike Obama.  Unless you meant that comparison as a joke, I really don’t see how you could come to that conclusion.  I do like your blog – an insider’s view of the IDF.  If you understood Obama the way we do – you might take it as an insult to think Obama would ever consider being a member of the IDF.  He hates you guys.

Liberal

Madeleine Begun Kane presents Rudy’s Family Values posted at Mad Kane’s Political Madness.

Wow, Mad Kane – I guess you got it bad for Rudy to bring up old news again! :)

vjack presents Taking a Stand Against War Crimes: Call for a Special Prosecutor and Impeachment of Bybee posted at Atheist Revolution.

First – we don’t fall under “international laws.”  We follow our American Constitution and the laws interpreted as a result of it.  Second – if you start prosecuting administration officials for their advice given to Presidents – all following governments would fail because no advisor will ever want to give any advice knowing they could possibly go to jail at the hands of the following administration that may have disagreed with that advice.  These advisors made their decisions and gave the advice based on their interpretations of the laws and put it in writing.  It’s not like their advise was given without great consideration.  What you are calling for is very dangerous.  Why are you only calling for the prosecution of Bush admin officials?  Why not Clinton’s administration for ordering the bombing of an aspirin factory?  Why not LBJ for Viet Nam?  Why not Carter for…oh yeah – he failed miserably.  In any case – you need to be very careful of what you wish for – you just might get it…and…if you get it this time…our country suffers and becomes impotent as a result.

Miscellaneous

Lisa Harding presents Real? « Plan “A” posted at Plan “A”, saying, “Adoption”

Well, not exactly related to politics.  However, I think this is a very important message to get out to everyone.  Adopted children are special children and the parents who adopt them are the “real” parents.  Common sense has left many people nowadays.  Thanks for this submission.

David Verjano & Anthony Hernandez presents The Virtue of Restraint posted at Life as (Un)usual.

Two words – I agree!

Joseph presents why I despise liberals posted at conservative joe.

Did you really vote for Obama?  Oh well, we all make mistakes I guess.  But, if you really are a conservative – how could you possibly have missed all the signs that he was indeed going to spend and waste our taxpayer dollars with all of his “share the wealth” schemes.  I do however agree with your assessment about closed-minded liberals who only say make these incendiary statements to be a member of their elitist clubs.  I never did like Garafalo or Olbermann.

Sarah Scrafford presents 10 Most Surprising College Majors in Presidential History posted at Learn-gasm.

Welcome back Sarah – You’re right – I was surprised by this list – Especially Truman.

Kampanye Damai Pemilu Indonesia 2009 presents Kampanye Damai Pemilu Indonesia 2009 posted at Blog Pemilihan Umum, saying, “Kampanye Damai Pemilu Indonesia 2009 mulai 1 Februari sampai 1 Mei 2009.

Umm.  What? :)   Okay – I don’t understand the language – but – I do know how to use the Google Translator.  Given that this is related to politics – perhaps someone who actually does speak this language might find this blog with this post – so – I guess I’ll leave it.

C. E. Dowalt presents Jimmy Obama posted at Money Confidential.

Jimmy Obama – that’s a good one.  You make some very excellent points about this administration and how ineffectual it has already become as it pursues this course to socialism and appeasement of evil.  Excellent.

News

Chris presents Mad Libs With Jackie Chan And The Yellow Press posted at Martial Development, saying, “Everyone is rushing to condemn Jackie Chan for his recent political speech. Methinks they protest too much…”

I think Jackie Chan usually has a level head.  I’m sure your contextual translation is probably more accurate.

I remember reading this and thinking – who listens to people wearing granny panties anyway?

Mark Couturier presents Were the Tea Party Protests Carefully Staged Events, or Did They Represent a Genuine People’s Revolt? posted at Independent-American.

I encourage my readers to go over to this one and respond.  I responded to let his left-leaning blogger know that these Tea Parties were not about Obama and that they were all sponsored by local communities and local individuals.  I got blasted by the loonies over there.  They really are sheep – just parroting the same things over and over that they heard from MSM, CNN, and MSNBC.  They really don’t get it.  I don’t know how Mark attracts them to his site – but – he really gets the sheeple on his site.

Aetius Romulous presents Mark to Market Magic – and Madness posted at ScreamBucket.

We need to bring logic back in to this country.  The suspension of Mark to Market was probably one of the most idiotic moves of our lifetime.  Having worked for one of the Big 5 accounting firms myself at one time – I am very familiar with FASB.  You’re right – when it comes to the government – they have no teeth – but – they will damned sure bear them to accounting firms and corporations.

Mark Couturier presents House Republicans to Napolitano: Get out! posted at Independent-American.

Well – considering she just pissed off the Canadians by declaring that 9/11 terrorists came from Canada, and the fact she allowed millions of illegal immigrants through the Arizona borders while she was their Governor – I would say this woman is in the wrong job.  She needs to go.

Mark Couturier presents Will the Republicans Reverse Their Position on Gay Rights? posted at Independent-American.

As I stated in my comments on your site – given the fact that 73% of this country opposes gay marriage – Republicans are on the right side of this issue.  But – if they were really smart – they would get out of the moral issues and stick strictly to following the constitution.  As a Conservative, I am personally opposed to gay marriage.  However, the Libertarian side of me – and the side of me that follows the constitution – says that government has no reason to interfere.

Mark Couturier presents Book on Great Depression Finds Favor Among Conservatives posted at Independent-American.

I haven’t read the book yet myself – but, from the reviews its getting – especially from the Liberals – it must be spot on.  We all know that when someone comes upon the truth about Liberalism and compares FDR to the fascist ideologies that he espoused – the libs come out from the woodwork to defend his socialist policies.

David Lamb presents When Will Congress Learn to Read? posted at Killer Buffalo.

Bwahahaha!  Good one.  They don’t have time to read the laws they are implementing.  They’re too busy giving grandiose speeches to spread the lies to keep their power.  If they really did care about this country and were doing their jobs – they would read the bills they are signing of on – and that goes for both parties.

Len Penzo presents How Mexico Can Save Its Oil Industry: Sell Baja California to the US posted at Len Penzo . Com, saying, “You can argue that this wild idea is just another example of bald-faced American imperialism, but if Mexico continues to insist on banning foreign investment in its dying oil industry that country may cease to exist as we know it anyway — and those in the US that can afford it will be paying $8 for a gallon of unleaded.”

Well – it’s a good proposal.  However, Americans would be saddled with another piece of resource rich land that the Government will not allow us to exploit.  Unless we were actually allowed to extract the resources – it would be a huge loss for this country.

Now – on to the good stuff.  So – a couple days ago – I put up this – Obama finally got something right which was a response to Obama finally growing a pair and authorizing force against those somali pirates terrorists that hijacked an American ship and kidnapped its Captain.  In that post – I also pointed out despite this one moment of strength – all of his previous actions in the face of other threats from around the world – he has backed down and shown weakness.  Well – one blogger decided to put together an entire post to tell me just how wrong I am!  Bwahahaha!  You can read his full post here.  So – let’s get down to this response:

As to why Obama did not choose to blow North Korea’s lauchpad up; Our President, unlike his predecessor, has shown great restraint, choosing to act in concert with our allies, and other countries, in condemning Kim and his hostile actions. To escalate any conflict in our present state is pure foolishness. Even the clowns on the right know this kind of talk is absurd, and have silenced those within their own party with such radical agressiveness. Bobo, you have been “left out” on your own on this one.

Um – really?  Could you please cite your sources regarding “have silenced those within their own party…”?  All I have heard coming from D.C. and the rest of us on the right is that he should have reacted.  You can see those reactions here, here, here, and here – just to point out a few.  When you are talking about allies – do you mean the U.N.?  The U.N. is absolutely useless.  Are you talking about allies like China and Russia?  That’s laughable.  In case you weren’t aware of it – there were 17 Iranian officials on hand there to witness the launch.  Hmmm…do you think that perhaps Iran has an ulterior motive as well?  Since when should America EVER have to rely on our allies to take care of the security of this country?  You are very naive to think that the likes of the U.N., Russia, China, France, or Germany will ever support us.  They have defied the U.S. in absolutely every military maneuver or show of force over the last 50 years.  They are not about to support us with NK sending nuclear missiles in to Japan, South Korea, and Alaska.  Yes – that missile can reach Alaska.  Obama was not showing restraint – he was showing that he has no balls and won’t do what is necessary to protect this country.  As for being “left out” on my own on this one – the last link up there is to the Rasmussen report that says 57% of this country – including 53% of the Democrats polled believe we should have shot down that missile.  Looks like I’m in the majority on this one again.

As to Iran’s nuclear production plant and why Obama didn’t bomb Natanz; Obama has chosen to the way of the U.N, much like Bush did, to enforce sanctions, while still attempting to reach out in a peaceful way. It seems Obama has sought the way of multilateral sanctions, and becoming part of a team for the US, instead of being the team and making all the decisions for that team. For too long now, The United States has been the aggressor in conflicts the world over, causing anti American sentiment to brew to new proportions. We voted for change and this is what we expected. The majority of Americans do not seek military solutions to diplomatic problems. It hasn’t worked in the past, and it is going to work now. Israel, who has way more to lose by Iran acquiring nuclear weapons, has also shown great restraint, so far. If any country should be concerned, it should be them. I am sure if the diplomatic process breaks down and peace is no longer a viable option, a military response will be carried out by Israel, rather than the U.S. The American people found out when Bush was president, to be cautious when a commander in chief claims someone has WMD. We do not need another Iraq. Bobo, you are “left out” again with your way out reasoning.

Man – I really can’t believe you are that naive and don’t understand our enemy – well – neither does Obama for that matter.  Do you not understand that the leaders of Iran want to annihilate both Israel and the U.S. and will stop at nothing to do it?  They are extreme religious zealots that want to “hasten the return of the 12th Imam.”  In order to do this – they have to either convert all non-believers of Islam or destroy them.  Israel to them is “the little Satan” and the U.S. is “the big satan.”  In this case – the sword is mightier than the pen.  All they know is the sword and we should strike back with bigger swords.  Bush was wrong to defer to the Useless Nitwits as well.  Where have those “sanctions” gotten us?  They have already opened their first nuke plant and they are committed to building a nuclear bomb now.  There is no diplomatic process with Iran.  Have you not heard of tafiq?  It is written in the Koran that it is okay to lie to an infidel in order to destroy them.  That is just what Iran is doing.  They will pretend to come to the table – but – they will never stop their nuclear program.  This administration does not understand that and Obama is an idiot for even believing we can ever “talk” Iran out of it.  The experts are saying Iran will have a nuke within 6 – 9 months.  If Obama had any balls at all – we would have taken out the nuke site already rather than force Israel to do it.  A nuclear Iran is a danger for the entire world – not just Israel and the U.S.  Is it necessary for me to repeat again that there were 17 Iranian officials at the North Korean launch?  Why do you think that was?

The missile defense shield you speak of on Russian borders has always been nothing more than a diplomatic tool the US has used to get Russia to bend in to some other foreign policy concerns. Now it seems Russia is willing to come to the table for talks on Nuclear weapons, and re-establishing a better friendship. To build a senseless missile shield is only to provoke hostilities. After all, if Russia wanted to dominate their neighbors, they could, as in times past, overrun their opponents borders with men, not missiles. The U.S. military already has the capability to shoot down long range missiles the world over. What’s the point in building a shield, except to make more enemies?

What?  Nothing more than a diplomatic tool?  Man – where do you get your news from?  This missile defense shield is to protect Europe.  In case you don’t know – the Iranian missiles are capable of reaching Europe – and that is the purpose of it.  It would be based in Poland – which is as far east as necessary in order to knock down any Iranian missiles sent that way.  Russia has been providing both financial and material support to the Iranians and have been assisting them in building their nuke plants and centrifuges.  Russia is an ally of Iran’s – not the U.S.  They have an interest in making sure there is no protection for our European allies and the former states of the USSR.

Russia is willing to come to the table?  Bwahahaha!  No – Medvedev is willing.  Medvedev is a puppet.  Putin is still pulling the strings in Russia.  Medvedev can say all he wants – but – in the background Putin is still increasing the size of their military, putting a military unit together to put on the border near Alaska, and continues to build up their nuclear arsenal.

Where did you come up with the idea that we have the capability “around the world” to shoot down long range missiles?  There are still major gaps everywhere – including Europe – that we can’t protect – therefore the need for the shield in Poland.  I used to be part of that intelligence community when I served in the USAF.  I know what our capabilities are and I know how our missile defense shields work and I know how they are supported.  In case you weren’t aware – Russia already is our enemy.  They were never our friends.

Your response regarding the U.S. Mexican border is just too long to cross-post here – so – I’ll just synopsise a few of the main points and answer them:

Bobo, it seems you have chosen to make this Obama’s problem solely, when this stuff has been plagueing the US for decades, not just two months.

Obama is the President now – so – yes – it is his problem solely.  When Bush was the President – it was his problem solely and I was pissed off at him also for not doing anything – and Clinton before him – Bush 41 before him – and I was extremely pissed when Reagan granted amnesty to millions then.  That is when we started seeing the huge surge.  Obama needs to do something.  We don’t need to cross the border when they drug cartel soldiers and runners don’t have a problem crossing the border themselves and firing on our soldiers and citizens.  What Obama needs to do is build that fence and then post sentries or increase the size of our border patrols and give them more broad powers to defend that border.

Hmmm. Even if the weapons are coming from here, which is of high debate, how would sending troops to the border address that concern?

I guess you missed this article.  There is no debate. According to that article -

Alberto Islas, a security consultant who advises the Mexican government, says the drug cartels are using the Guatemalan border to move black market weapons. Some are left over from the Central American wars the United States helped fight; others, like the grenades and launchers, are South Korean, Israeli and Spanish. Some were legally supplied to the Mexican government; others were sold by corrupt military officers or officials.

We need to send the troops to the border – not to stop the weapons – which are not actually coming from America – but to stop them from kidnapping and killing American citizens.  Did you not read that Phoenix, Arizona is the Number 2 place in the ENTIRE world for kidnappings?  The Mexican Cartel backed soldiers and drug lords are coming in to this country at will and kidnapping people off our American streets.  366 in 2008 and 359 in 2007 – JUST from Phoenix.

I can’t argue with your statement regarding American dependence on drugs.  You can blame that on the liberal and libertarian agendas who actively promote wanting to legalize drugs and telling our children for the past 30 years that doing drugs are okay.  I’ve already published a paper on adolescent substance abuse in America and it keeps pointing back to the liberal school systems.  The Monitoring the Future Report states that by the time our kids graduate from High School more than 55% of them are current users and abusers and that 90% of them get their drugs on campus.  If our schools were truly against drugs – they would make it impossible for the kids to get them there.

Here’s a Fox News article that debunks your claims about the money given to a terrorists organization.
“Obama administration officials had indicated last week that the U.S. was preparing to pledge $900 million in assistance for Gaza, but Wood’s description of the plan Sunday indicated that the only portion going directly to rebuilding Gaza was the $300 million.

Wood said that while all of the money is subject to approval by Congress, the intent is to provide about $200 million to help the Palestinian Authority shore up a budget shortfall and another $400 million to assist Palestinian institutional reforms and economic development. Wood said some of the $400 million might wind up aiding Gaza, but he said that would depend on the Palestinian Authority.

Some portion of the $900 million total U.S. pledge had already been budgeted for 2009, Wood said, adding that he could not immediately provide a breakdown.

Getting U.S. humanitarian aid quickly to Gaza is complicated by the U.S. refusal to funnel it through the Hamas militant movement that rules Gaza. The U.S. considers Hamas a terrorist organization. Wood said the U.S. aid that does not go directly to the Palestinian Authority would be funneled to Gaza through international organizations and agencies.”

Bobo, it seems, once again, you have put the cart before the horses. No money will be given to Hamas. Congressional approval is required in order for the deal to go through anyway. My only thought about this one is; I wouldn’t pledge a dime to rebuild Gaza. Food and humanitarian aid is one thing, building Gaza is another. Our road map to peace, which has always been a goal of the US, is ridiculous. It will never work as long as those two sides have fundamental differences over the whose right it is to be on the land. The other side is, if you dont rebuild Gaza, Gaza will have no economy and we will be forced to keep feeding people rather than them sustaining themselves. You pick.

Umm – Hamas is the ruling authority in Gaza.  Who do you think controls the Palestinean Authority?  The U.S. government does not consider Hamas to be a terrorist organization.  In fact – our government recognizes them as a legitimate organization.  They only thing preventing the U.S. government from dealing directly with the Hamas leadership is the need for Hamas to recognize Israel.  Other than that one point – our very left leaning government does indeed recognize them.  That article does not debunk anything of what I said.  It actually helps to support my statement.  The only people who should be providing aide and feeding Gaza are the Gazans themselves.  It is not our job to continue to protect a people who use terrorism as a bargaining tool.

On Cuba: What is the point to impose sanctions on the Cuban People? For over forty years, people in Cuba have suffered from the U.S. policies. At one time, these policies may have been necessary, but that was during the Bay of Pigs. Way outdated, and way useless. Let the people of Cuba get a taste of western life, and eventually the seeds of democracy will sprout itself. We do not need to force anything on anyone. These sanctions havent done anything but make other countries better trade partners with Cuba. We could use the revenue that trade would open up. The Cuban people could use the money to better their lives. Anyway, why would we sit back and let Russia establish better relations with a place that is 50 miles off our border? Be sensible, lest we see Russian warships docked on the coasts of Cuba. Americans are tired of the past Cuba policies. Look at the Polls. Now we have a President that is in touch with the will of the people, and willing to change idiotic policies that no longer serve any purpose.

Again – this just shows how naive you are and how out of touch you are.  I live in Florida.  There are almost no Cuban here who support lifting the sanctions.  They know how oppressive Castro is and what he has done to them and their families.  Again – just like a liberal – you blame the Cuban suffering on American policies.  The Cuban people are suffering because of Castro’s policies to keep them all down.  How can you blame the actions of a dictator who steals from his people in order to further his own agenda and lifestyle on America?  That’s ridiculous.  Do you know any Cubans?  I do.  They hate Castro.  Even though some of them still have family in Cuba – they don’t want the restrictions lifted.  Our state senator Mel Martinez is a first generation Cuban immigrant.  He came here with his family when he was a child.  He opposes the sanctions being lifted as well.  If Obama were really in touch with the people – then he would actually listen to the Cuban refugees and not lift any of the restrictions.

Regarding your reference to Russia – seriously?  Russia and Cuba are already allies.  Who do you think does the most trade with Cuba now?  Who do you think provides the weapons to Cuba?  Who do you think has been supplying them with their energy needs (besides Chavez?).  Again, you’re out of touch on this one as well.  Also – you do know where GITMO is right?  We have a very large military and naval presence in Cuba already.  I don’t think we’ll be seeing any Russian warships or bombers there any time soon.

The socialists talk you speak of is just more rightwing rhetoric that carries no weight in dealing with real world issues. All the military solutions you suggest, only serve the interests of the past empire, not a team player in the world of international relations.

And a special thank you to Bobo for providing my fire with the necessary kindling.

It’s only you guys on the left that keep your heads buried that think the “socialist talk” is just right-wing rhetoric.  Please read your history.  I don’t know how old you are – but – they actually used to teach the history of WWII, Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Mussolini, Hitler, and Lenin when I was in school.  This country at one time was heading down the path towards socialism.  Obama is repeating that exact history again with the increasing the size of government, the absolutely largest amout of government spending EVER in history, government interference in private business, government takeover of the banking system, and the like.  These are indeed socialist and fascist ideologies.  It is historical fact.  I wrote a very lengthy and detailed piece on the “isms” over at Inside Government that you should read.  I give you the entire history and the individuals involved that brought about socialism, fascism, marxism, communism, and capitalism.  If you really open your eyes, you will see that Obama and this administration are leading this country down the wrong path.  George Bush started us down the road to Socialism and Obama is just speeding it up.

Regarding your last statement and “not a team player in the world of international relations” – WTF man?  This country always has been and always will be the single most largest contributor to foreign aide in the entire world.  Despite this country’s generosity for decades – we are still seen as evil.  Even when those bastards are taking our money – they are still cursing us.  Why the hell should we really care about “the world of international relations?”  We are Americans.  We are not Europeans.  We are not Russians.  We are not Afrikaans.  We are a nation of all nations and we are Americans and we have the absolute right to defend ourselves and our sovereignty from anyone who opposes us.  We should NEVER look to the international community to decide what is right for us.

Your turn.
