Congress
The total set aside by the Obambi administration for Green Energy businesses was $80 Billion. We’ve heard about Solyndra, Fisker, and A123 among some of the bigger ones. However, there are a total of 34 companies on this list totaling $3.770 Billion in taxpayer funded loans. Admittedly, that is only 1/2 of 1% of the total. But, given that we are talking BILLIONS that still is no chump change when it comes to our taxes. I found the list here. We can’t afford having the government pick and choose who the winners and losers are. Given that Global Warming has been debunked and we now find out that there has been absolutely no global warming over the last 16 years – this is plain ridiculous.
The complete list of faltering or bankrupt green-energy companies:

This is Mia Love – she is the current mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah and is currently running for a seat in Congress. She was born to Haitian immigrants – who did it the legal way – and she tells the story that her parents came here with only $10 to their names. What is so special about this woman anyway? Could it be that this is a black woman running for Congress in a traditionally Republican state? No. Not really. There are plenty of African-American women in Congress. Could it be that she is a Republican woman?
Yes – she is a Republican. Not only that – she is Mormon. Surely, though – those tolerant liberals must be so very supportive of her, right? After all, she was a gubmint funded hood rat like the rest of the African-Americans that the liberals like to keep enslaved, right? Nope – ever since it was announced that she would be speaking at the RNC – those oh, so very tolerant liberals have jumped all over here.
What do you call a black woman that embraces conservative values? I mean, they call Allen West – “Uncle Tom.” Since she could be the very first ever black Republican woman to hold a congressional seat – we’ll just have to wait and see what those inclusive elite liberals come up with as a slander for her.
In the meantime – they are bashing her hard – Check this out.
By the way – did you read this campaign poster? How dare she go against the government? Doesn’t she know that she is a double minority? The only thing The Daily Kos can bash her on is her spelling. Oh well.
She was a shining star at the RNC convention Tuesday evening. What a helluva speech! if I wanted to, I could find the transcript and post it up here – but – just going from what I heard – I think this woman really has what it takes. She called Obama to task for dividing this country and playing the race card – she even alluded to the fact that she “did build that.”
She invoked MLK and Rosa Park in her speech while talking about how Americans are looking for opportunities – not handouts.
keep an eye out for this young lady – she’s going places – as long as the liberal elite class doesn’t put her under their thumbs and back in the chains of government slavery where they think all good African- Americans belong. Oh – one more thing – if white liberals oppose her – does that make them racist too? Just wondering? I mean, really – if we white conservatives disagree with P-BO because of his America destroying policies – why – that automatically makes us racist. So – just wondering – will the liberals be crying racism once one of them starts bashing her for her policies and votes? Oh – that’s right – liberals don’t care about facts. All they know is talking points fed to them by Soros and moveon.org.
Here’s her speech from the RNC Convention – Enjoy!
There is a reason that I am no longer a registered Republican and have begun working with The American Conservative Party to develop a viable third-party option to those pinheads in Washington – one of those being they consistently vote against our military veterans every step of the way. Imagine my surprise when I read this from our buddy Marc Chamot over at The Examiner.com:
House Cuts 10,000 “2011″ HUD Housing Vouchers for Homeless Veterans
Really, people? We’re facing a $3.6 Trillion spending budget with a deficit of $1.6 Trillion – you submit a budget with only $61 Billion in cuts, the OMB publishes a report stating there is over $100 Billion in overlapping departments and programs – and you decide our military Veterans need to get the shaft? I was truly hoping that the new TEA Party candidates would have a bigger impact – apparently, not.
I guarantee you I can find at least $1.6 Trillion to cut out of our government based on the 2010 Budget:
The Department of Education – $46.7 Billion
The Department of Energy – $26.3 Billion
The EPA – $10.5 Billion
Medicare – $453 Billion
Medicaid – $295 Billion
Social Security – $695 Billion
Social Security Administration – $9.7 Billion
National Infrastructure Bank – $5 Billion
Corporation for National and Community Service – $1.1 Billion
Total of All the Above – $1.54 Trillion – okay – I was a little close. My figures are based on if you cut those programs and departments out completely. If you click that link above to see the total 2010 budget – you will see the percentage increases of 2009. I would cut back all of those increases to the 2006 levels of spending. In addition, you will notice what is absent as itemized in the budget – all the Congressional perks such as a subsidized cafeteria, gas, car, insurance, housing allowance, lifetime benefits consisting of a pension and health care. Also absent the itemization are the IRS and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. I would cut out ALL the perks these politicians enjoy, do away with the IRS entirely, and sell of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. I guarantee you I will would produce a surplus.
Those idiots in Congress need to do the right thing and just start slashing everywhere. This country is in serious financial disaster right now. Our dollar is tanking, the stock market is headed downward again, gas prices are going through the roof, food prices are about to spike, and true unemployment is about to hit 20%.
They need to lay off our Veterans.
Found this today:
House GOP Lists $2.5 Trillion in Spending Cuts
See further below for the complete list of cuts.
In my opinion – if you read the article – you will see these cuts are phased in over a 10 year period. That is TOO long AND the cuts don’t go deep enough. This freakin’ government is so bloated it will take a helluva lot more than this to bring it back under control.
I’m recommending the following additional cuts that are not in this list:
Eliminate the Department of Energy
Eliminate the Department of Education
Eliminate the EPA
Eliminate the FDA
Eliminate the Department of Agriculture
Eliminate ALL Foreign aide to those countries who oppose us in any manner
Eliminate ANY and ALL subsidies to the U.N.
Remove the U.S. from the anti-American U.N. thereby eliminate our annual dues
Eliminate ANY and ALL subsidies to ANY private or non-profit non-governmental business or agency
These are just the one’s that I could come up with off the top of my head. The American taxpayer should NEVER be on the hook for anything that isn’t specifically allowed in the enumerated powers of Congress in the U.S. Constitution. All of the above departments usurp states’ rights. We should never be providing foreign aide to any country. We can give them loans with fixed interests rates to be paid back over a specified period of time – but never a freakin’ handout. These loans should only be made to staunch allies – not terrorist nations like Paleoswine. Lastly – since when has it EVER been the government’s business to decide which private and non-profit businesses should survive in a free-market capitalist open-society? Those businesses should thrive or fail on their own merits.
Anyway – like it said – it is a start. Now – let’s hope they keep this promise as well. WE elected them to do just this – now we need to hold their feet to the fire and demand more cuts more rapidly in addition to actually making the below listed cuts.
