While it has essentially been an assumption and campaign rhetoric that should Obambi be elected we would get 4 more years of the same bad policies – it was just that – assumption and supposition. Now – it is fact:

An Obama victory in November would lend the president a new fistful of political capital as he confronts Republican leaders over how to avoid the fiscal cliff and steer the polarized country through the next four years. More than a month before November’s elections, his allies in the House are already offering tips for how to spend it.

“He’s got to continue to concentrate on jobs,” Rep. Bill Pascrell said last week as the House was leaving town for a long, pre-election recess.

Uh – Mr. Pascrell – if he concentrates on jobs any more – there will be absolutely NO jobs left!  His jobs policies have been to destroy jobs.  No thanks.

“I’m hoping he’ll do immigration reform,” said Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas).

Mr. Cuellar – is that code for complete amnesty and open borders?  You don’t think doing an end around Congress was enough when he gave amnesty to all those illegal immigrants last month? The only thing we want in immigration reform – is – well – no reform.  Enforce the damned laws that are ALREADY on the books!

“We should get back to an energy policy – one that acknowledges that climate change is real,” said Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.).

OMFG!  Climate change is real?  Where the Fudgecicle did that idea come from?  Global warming has been debunked – in case you’ve had your head in the sand these past 2 years.  Your idiotic ideas that we have global warming is what is already guiding his energy policy.  Have you looked at the price of gas and consumer products lately? We can’t afford any more of Obambi’s non-energy producing policies!

“The critical issues will be revenue generation … and … a concerted push on immigration reform,” said Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.).

Obviously, Mr. Grijalva is in the same corner as Mr. Cuellar when it comes to open borders and complete amnesty. As for his “revenue generation” I think we all know what he means – increase taxes. Despite the fact Keynesian economics and tax increases have been proven wrong and bad for the economy countless times – all these idiots really want is to find a way to get more money for their pet projects and to continue to enslave our poor and lower class on the government plantation.  If you’re serious about revenue generation – how about lowering taxes – especially corporate taxes and create policies that actually incentivises investors, business owners, and entrepreneurs to build their businesses.  In other words – read some Milton Friedman or Thomas Sowell books – you might learn how our capitalist system and economy actually works.

“I think he’d want his administration to start on healthcare,” said Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.).

Oh, good Lord, Mr. Honda! Obamacare wasn’t enough?  The nationalization of our healthcare system isn’t enough for you? What the hell more can you guys in Congress possibly do with healthcare that you haven’t already done?  The best healthcare system in the world is being reduced to third-world status and you want to do more? Have you looked at what is happening in Canada, Greece, the U.K., Germany, and other countries with nationalized healthcare? It is failing miserably and causing a major financial crisis in those countries. Leave our healthcare system alone. Repeal Obamacare. If you want to work on healthcare – reduce the regulations that have overinflated the costs. Provide affordable access – not insurance.  Idiot.

“Debt and jobs,” Welch said. “That’s the fundamental issue: How are we going to deal with the debt in a way that promotes growth?”

Welch? Aren’t you the same idiot that believes in global warming? Debt and Jobs? Every policy this administration has advanced the past for years has increased the debt and decreased jobs! Do you really need another primer on how to deal with the debt and promote job growth?  Cut the debt in half – get rid of 50% of the government off the top – get your job killing policies off the books, and lower taxes.  Start drilling again and get rid of the EPA, Department of Energy, and the Department of Education to start with.  How the hell did you get elected?

Although the Republicans are expected to keep control of the House, an Obama win amid a lingering jobs crisis would – at least in the eyes of Democrats – validate some of the policies the president has adopted on the campaign trail and pressure Republicans to reach deals on them. Indeed, some leading Republicans have said an Obama victory would be “a referendum” for raising taxes on the country’s highest earners, one of Obama’s top priorities.

The power of post-election momentum was evident four years ago when Obama was swept into the White House in a wave of Democratic victories that allowed the party to secure the early passage of their controversial economic stimulus package and paved the way for the enactment of sweeping healthcare reforms the following year.

Although voter enthusiasm toward Obama waned, reelection would give the president new – if fleeting – leverage in his negotiations with GOP leaders over a range of issues.

His House supporters are hoping he uses that leverage to fight for a long list of Democratic priorities that were lost to the partisan battles of the last Congress.
