John Stossell – The Teacher’s Union Does Not Care About Your Child

There is nothing worse than a monopoly. Liberals love to rail about so-called monopolies in all sorts of private industries. But when it comes to teaching and public schools? Well, then it’s O.K. while American children are being short-changed.

So, does this mean Obama admits the “stimulus” bill didn’t work?

This is an add-on to the previous post – from me – as it seems to flow.

Obama Renews Call for $30 Billion Plan to Boost Hiring

President Obama Friday repeated his call for Congress to pass a $30 billion package to foster hiring and help tackle painfully high levels of unemployment.

Barack Obama

“I’m hopeful the House will pass these measures next week and that the Senate will follow as soon as possible—with support from both Democrats and Republicans,” Obama said in remarks delivered in the White House Rose Garden.

After the worst recession in decades, many small businesses report trouble getting credit.

Obama’s proposal would establish a $30 billion fund to boost lending to small businesses looking to hire and expand operations by providing additional capital to community banks.

The House of Representatives’ Financial Services Committee approved the Small Business Lending Fund Act last month by a vote of 42-23.

The White House official said Obama will call on the House to approve the plan along with a new state Small Business Credit Initiative that would spur more than $20 billion in new lending through state-based programs.

Whoa there buddy!  I thought the $787 ARRA passed in February 2009 was supposed to cover all this?  This administration has been repeatedly trying to trumpet that the stimulus bill is working and we are out of the recession – and – that our economy is recovering.  Also, given the fact that only 1/3d of that stimulus money has been spent thus far – why the hell are they asking for more money?

Why not tap in to what is supposed to be left of that stimulus bill?  If that stimulus bill was so successful – why do you need more money?

I think if we read between the lies lines what we have here is an omission that the ARRA failed.  Well – at least the part it was touted to do – stimulate the economy – failed.  What they were successful in accomplishing was implementing the building blocks for nationalized health care – The HITECH Act that continues to push along forcing EVERY health care provider in this country to be on electronic health records by 2014.  EVERY EHR system in America will be tied to a national health care databank that is controlled by the Federal government.  The Federal Government will now be able to access EVERY piece of personal health information about EVERY individual in this country at the time of service. (See Sec. 13101, Subtitle A, Sec 3001, Para (b)(4)).

So – what it boils down to is that the “stimulus” bill did nothing to stimulate the economy. I contend the only purpose of the so-called “stimulus” bill was to hide this HITECH Act provision that creates the basic foundation for a nationalized health care system.

And now California starts to slowly crumble

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: Democrats, Guest Bloggers, Liberals, Politics, RINO, Socialism

Guest post from Vulcan’s Hammer

Yesterday, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed a new “austerity” budget for the state of California. Needless to say, any budget that was to be proposed with any cuts in spending in these tough economic times was going to be met with some resistance. Here is a quote from the SFGate

California would eliminate its welfare program, most state-subsidized child care and make deep cuts to prison spending, health care and human services programs under the governor’s revised budget proposal unveiled today.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said the budget plan – which he said includes no tax increases – reflects the dearth of options left to the state. He also revised the projected deficit from $20 billion to $19 billion.

But while there were many suggested cuts, the governor also proposed increasing funding for the University of California, California State University system and community colleges, saying the money should help stop tuition hikes. He also plans to fully fund parks.

He said the state has tackled all the “low, middle and high hanging fruit,” and must now “take the ladder away from the tree and shake the whole tree.”

And he warned that he will not sign a budget unless the Legislature tackles reforms of the state’s tax, pension and budget systems that he blamed for the current woes.

“I believe a budget should be a reflection of what we in California value most, and what my administration stands for, in good times and in bad,” he said. “It should still provide a safety net for our most vulnerable citizens, but we are not because our budget system is broken. I now have no choice but to stand here today and call for the elimination of some important programs.”

Surprisingly, most of the comments left by readers supported Schwarzenegger’s cuts to some of the social programs while increasing funding for the University of California. We’ll see how long that lasts. I can already see the interest groups forming to fight any cuts to their budgets. I don’t understand why Schwarzenegger chose the university system over the social programs to exclude from budget cuts, but I have a feeling that the liberals that lead the state legislature are going to dump Mr. Schwarzenegger’s budget proposal with the usual angry rhetoric. Stay tuned.

Happy Earth Day! Ha Ha Ha!

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: Earth Day, Eco-terrorists, Global warmongering, Liberals, Socialism

To celebrate Earth Day today I didn’t recycle anything, I cut down a tree in my back yard and did not compost it – rather – I just cut it all up and put it in one of those 50 gallon huge plastic construction grade plastic bags and put it on the curbside to be picked up with regular garbage to be delivered to the local landfill.  I also saved up all my broken light bulbs, dead batteries, and bad fluorescent light bulbs to be tossed in the regular garbage as well.

This is a bogus bullshit made up day.  Here is the TRUE history of Earth Day straight from the Earth Day website.  It is a socialist eco-whacko movement that started in 1970 by that whacko Senator from Wisconsin – Gaylord Nelson.  This guy was a real nutjob.  He was one of those population control freaks that put the environment over economic success and growth.

Now – check this out – absolutely hilarious – h/t to Irate Nate for sending this to me

You Libtards really need to get off the race card kick

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: America, Liberals, Politics, Socialism, government

Over the weekend that idiot Libtard Congressman from Tennessee, Steve Cohen, compared the Tea Party to a modern day KKK

from breitbart TV

Here is the truth about the Tea Party and those who support it:

From today’s (4/5/10) Gallup Poll results

“Tea Partiers Are Fairly Mainstream in Their Demographics”

Take careful note – while it might have been students that really helped push Obama in the presidency this past election – you’ll note that 4% of our movement are students now – compared to 3% of the total population being in school. More and more students are waking up and realizing their mistake. Then there is this one:

You boneheaded libtard idiots that continue to throw out the race card at a movement that is largely supported by the majority of this country will be your complete downfall – not only this November – but for future elections to come.  While we are largely conservative, you will note that at least 29% of Tea Partiers are moderate or liberal.  Only 21% of the population identify themselves as liberal.

The race card will not work now or any time in the future.  It has been overplayed and no one is buying it any longer.  21% of all Tea Partiers and supporters are non-white compared to 26% of the total population being non-white.  Our movement is representative of the overall demographics of this country and unless you socialists begin to get a grasp of these facts – there will never be a liberal majority in our government ever again.

While it may take a decade to undo everything this administration has done – have no doubts – we will undo it all and we will take this country back to what our founders originally intended it to be – a very limited government completely representative FOR the people.

The Tea Party Movement is valid, representative of the country, and will not be coming to an end any time soon! The Tea Party Movement is now just as American as mom, apple pie, and baseball.

Obama tells crowd today that only government can create jobs.

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: Constitution, Obama, Politics, Socialism, government

Today while P-BO was giving a speech at a Charlotte, NC speech trying to tout the so-called success of his failed stimulus plan – he stated this:

“Companies will not make investments for the public good.”

Obama was at a company today that received $49 Million from the stimulus package in order to make lithium-ion batteries.  The problem is – even with the success this company appears to be having right now and announcing they will hire 300 more employees – the fact of the matter is that they haven’t even spent ANY of that stimulus money.

The statement above proves that Obama hates capitalism and believes that ONLY government can create jobs.  He is trying to state that by giving this company the $49 Million of taxpayer money he saved that company and created jobs.  False, false, false.  This company is successful IN-SPITE of the stimulus money.

Furthermore, the statement above proves:

a.) He doesn’t understand how business operates – why the hell does he think people go in to business in the first place?  It is to provide a good to the public.  The public chooses whether or not to purchase that product.  All business is for the public good.

b.) He doesn’t understand economics – no country can sustain itself if EVERY job is a government job or government funded job.  The latest unemployment numbers say that 162,000 were added in March.  But – 88,000 or more than 50% of those jobs are temporary government jobs that will go away in July.  Totally unsustainable.

c.) He truly hates capitalism, corporations, and a free-market based system.  Anybody that can say that government creates jobs – not private corporations – is a socialist and hates true freedom.

P-BO just continues to prove he is inexperienced and just plain clueless when it comes to America and the American people.  This continued expansion of the size of government and continued funding of private businesses using taxpayer money is unsustainable and a slap in the face of every American – and a direct intrusion of the U.S. Constitution.  There is nothing in the Constitution that allows our government to redistribute taxpayer money to private corporations.  This type of chicanery does nothing for “the public good.”  It is just Obama and the Democrats trying to buy votes before November.
