Also, I've been in all aspects of healthcare for the last 18 years - the only time you have someone making such decisions is in a fee-for-service environment. BoBo - you somehow find it comforting to know that your medical care is overseen by someone whose sole job is to deny you proper medical care and save the insurer some money. Some bureaucrat somewhere with no knowledge of good medical practice currently stands between you and your doctor - this is a good thing?
