Life and Stregenth Tattoo Update – Got Pix!

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: Children, Funnies, Humor, Idiots

Finally got the pictures this weekend.  It’s even funnier worse than I thought!  Here’s the first one – S-T-R-E-G-E-N-T-H

Is that some funny shit or what? Guess what – it gets even better! We just figured this one out.

Have you figured out yet what’s wrong with this one? It’s supposed to say L-I-F-E. The freakin’ “L” is backwards! OMG! It looks like it says T-I-F-E.

So – this is a warning for everyone who EVER decides to get a tattoo – and some advice:

  1. LOOK AT THE STENCIL BEFORE IT GETS PUT ON!!!!
  2. WATCH AS THE STENCIL IS BEING PUT ON!!!!
  3. WATCH EVERY LITTLE MOVE THE ARTIST MAKES WHILE HE/SHE IS PUTTING IT ON!!!
  4. and 17 YEAR OLD KIDS SHOULD NEVER GET TATTOOS cuz THEY DON’T PAY ATTENTION!!!

And – if you want to know what tattoo artist to avoid – here is the idiot that did it – Stay as FAR away from this guy as possible! Do NOT get a tattoo from this guy

Artie Joe’s Skin City
127 Forest Lakes Boulevard
Tampa, Florida

Finally – you’ll notice there is a nasty gash on my son’s shoulder in the first picture – here’s the story:

He was riding his bicycle on the side of the road when some of his friends came driving by.  As they pass by him – they call out his name – he turns back to see them and wave to them.  As he does – he plows right in to one of those cement bus stop benches – sending him hurling over his handle bars and over the bench.  He pretty much messed up his back and his shoulder.  Like I said – 17 year old kids don’t pay attention!

Oh – and BTW – if any of you want to – you can most definitely copy these pictures to show your friends and loved ones what NOT to do when getting a tattoo.  Have a good week! :)

Oh dear God. You DID demand that he gets his money back, right? The shop can’t reasonably keep his money when the tattooist fucked up the words. *smacks head*. Although, to be fair, the Old English L does kinda look like that, and can be misleading. But there is no excuses for “stregenth” :D Next time your kid wants a tattoo, send him up our way, my husband’s a fantastic artist. And he can spell.

I’ll have to show these to my daughter. She’s 17 and she wants to get a tattoo when she’s 18. She wants a rose, angel wings and “Guardian Angel” written in another language. I think this might just dissuade her from the words at least!

Apparently, this guy has “re-designed” it and will have to make it bigger to cover it up. My son has already picked up the new drawing. I’ll have to wait until he comes by this weekend to get a look at it. I really don’t see how this guy is going to fix it.

Regarding the Old English “L” – I found this website http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~oel/lawhandslg.html that shows all the lettering. It does not appear to me that the “L” is backwards in here.

This tattoo artist just plain sucks.

    Bobo,
I am not one who believes in a whole lot of litigation, but I think you should sue the “artist”. This is just plain incompetence. I think you should also call the better business bureau and show them the work. I am sure the shop has a computer of some type, how about a little spell check!!

My wife and I decided a long time ago that if we ever got tattoos that we’d get cartoon characters; she would get the dog “Droopy” and I would get Captain Caveman.

Of course we never did get them but it would have been funny to get those ones.

What drives the left looney is stupid people. Stupid was George Bush. Stupid is you. You raised a son who can’t spell and from reading your post it’s evident that runs in the family. If you were educated you’d know republicans don’t represent you.

Really, MarkD? So what – I put this post up hastily and didn’t do a proofread – and you can honestly say with 100% certainty that you have never EVER misspelled a word?

FYI – I’m working on a Ph.d dissertation right now – I would challenge you to an intellectual discussion any day.

The problem with idiot libs like yourself is that you claim to be tolerant – but – are the furthest from it. As for my “raising a son who can’t spell” – I blame that on the liberal public school system. You have no idea how much I worked with him and all the money spent on tutors because the public school system was failing him. Even with all the additional work I put in and the tutors put in – he still ended up dropping out of high school in 11th grade with little more than an 8th grade level of education.

Lastly, he knows how to spell “strength.” His mistake, as pointed out in the post, is that he failed to look at the stencil and failed to watch the “artist” as he was doing the tattoo – which is expected from idiot 17 year old kids. And…no…I didn’t sign off on him getting this tat – his idiot mother, my ex-wife, can be thanked for that boneheaded move.

That’s not very republican of you to deny culpability in your childs intelligence. In fact it sounds way left wing crazy to lay the blame on a liberal institution like the public school system. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if you were to blame many of the country’s ills on inner city welfare moms for raising unintelligent tattoo’d thugs on a steady diet of government cheese. You are a disgrace to your party and a horrible mom for sentencing your child to a lifetime of minimum wage. Thankfully them crazy libs care enough about your child to enact minimum wage standards to allow your spawn to survive. Perhaps you can do some good and lobby congress to include tattoo removal in their healthcare bill so your son won’t be too much of a loser. One other thing; for the good of society, keep your legs crossed!

MarkD – you truly are a dolt. First, if you had read my profile – you would see I am not a Republican. I could care less about them. Second, what makes you assume I am a woman?

Actually, this son is the smart one with above average intelligence. His problem is that he listened to the liberal public school system who repeatedly told him he didn’t have to go to school and that he should just drop out and get a G.E.D. – which he ultimately did and received his diploma before his fellow classmates. Unfortunately, the G.E.D. program is even worse than the regular public school system in that he only had to pass basic English and Math to get it. The school system has so devalued him to the point where he has no motivation to succeed and to improve upon himself. As I stated in my previous post – I did everything imaginable to help motivate him and to give him every possibility to succeed. The problem is that the school system was fighting me all the way and actually encouraged him to drop out.

BTW – if you want the answer to the previous assumption you made – his other big problem was his alcoholic mother (my ex-wife) was getting high and drinking with him when he would visit her. Yes, I as a responsible father had custody of my children. Lord knows I tried to limit and restrict their visitation with her but to no avail. As they got older and more mobile and had friends with cars – and the fact the courts said I needed to have evidence she was in fact drinking with them and getting high with them, I wasn’t allowed to prevent them from visiting her, especially on her weekends. I had frank discussions with them about their drug use and where they were getting it – but – they refused to rat their mother out – since she is their main supplier.

So, I accept responsibility in the fact that I did absolutely everything possible for them…more than most parents would these days…but – given their mother’s negative influence and the public school’s influence – I could not win.

Next time – don’t assume. You’ll always lose out. Oh – and BTW mister perfect spelling and grammar – it is “child’s” and “tattooed.” I guess you are as just as unintelligent as you claim myself and my kids to be.

I apologize. It was sexist of me to assume only a woman could be so ball-less as to allow their teenage son to drop out of school with an 8th grade education and get jail-house tattoo’s while still a minor. Wow was I wrong. Thank you for raising a future burden of society.

    1. The BoBoNo Gravatar Says:

See – there ya go again making assumptions…1.) I did not sign the papers allowing him to drop out – the idiot ex-wife did and 2.) I did not sign the paperwork allowing him to get that jailhouse tattoo – his idiotic alcoholic mother did. When she signed the papers allowing him to drop out and when I found out after the fact – I sent him to live with her since he obviously wasn’t following my wishes. In this state, while I was deemed the “residential parent” we still technically had “shared custody” and she was allowed to sign documents without my knowledge and against my wishes. So – yes – it was a ball-less woman who did indeed allow this.

He would rather live the life you liberals lead – that being let someone else take care of him and when he makes bad decisions let someone else come behind and clean up for him. Being one who emphatically believes in personal responsibility – he now has to live by the choices he makes – even if they are stupid – just as this decision was. Once he got his G.E.D. here in this state at age 17 he was legally emancipated and I couldn’t do anything anyway. He is now 18 going on 19 – unemployed – because no one will hire anyone without a real high school diploma. G.E.D.’s don’t count for shit. In the meantime – he’s mooching off his mom and grandparents. Just like the libs taught him.

If it weren’t for crappy parents like you there’d be no need for liberals. Sick of you trailer trash know nothings tossing the word liberal around as if it was a bomb. But yeah yeah we heard it all, you absolve yourself of any responsibility. It’s the wifes fault, the schools fault, i didn’t sign the papers, the damn liberals screw up everything. You’re nothing but an excuse maker combined with a complainer. STFU and get a vasectomy, America can’t afford your offspring.

I’m sorry The BoBo, but I’ve got to agree with MarkD here. You are simply blaming every institution, person, party or policy on your parenting skills and relationships, own insecurities and fears. None of them should be a factor if you had brought up your children with love and respect.Posting pictures of your son’s tattoo work to try and glorify your own ego only shows your inconsiderate and inter-self personality. It may ‘only’ be the Internet, but your consciousness still comes through well in writing, and I hope as an individual you understand how your name is put to these words for the world to interpret. Perhaps stop judging external factors between yourself and your son, and try reconnect with him as a human being, as well as parent. It’s never too late. The brightest light shines in darkness, if your ex-wife is really that horrible and negative, perhaps you should ask yourself why your children prefer being with her and drugs rather than yourself.Maybe you are treating them like lesser humans (which seems the case)? Wouldn’t you want your son to outgrow and better you, showing your skills as a father? One other thing I would like to mention. I hope you realise you named a whole tattoo parlour instead of the individual artist’s name. That is very unfair on other artists working there as every artist has different skills to showcase. Unfortunately some people such as ‘Crabby Blogging Lady’ still have a misunderstanding of tattooing and choose to only see the negatives in such a beautiful art form.I hope you have a great day and soon reconnect with your son on a much higher level than before. Thanks for reading.

I am so glad I never got a tattoo when I was young. I am not the same person now that I was when I was a teen. As a mature woman now, I would be horrified to be stuck with what I thought was cool when I was a teen. What would my tats have said?  Probably Wang Chung .? Twisted Sister?Everybody wang chung tonight.Luckily tats weren’t all the rage back then. Ridiculously huge hair was in fashion, but thank God that fashion trend passed too. Luckily metal hair perms can be cut off!!!  If I was stuck with a permanent anything from that era I would feel like a dork. What will happen to this generation when the tats and piercings are no longer in style or cool?
