Cap and Trade up for a vote on Friday – let’s not lose focus!

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, America, Congress, Democrats, Eco-terrorists, Global warmongering, Idiots, Liberals, Obama, Pelosi, Politics, President, Republicans, Socialism, energy, government

Before I get on to the main topic – I will address the issue with Governor Sanford….Freakin’ scumbag idiot!  I don’t care whether the politician is a Democrat, a Republican, Libertarian, etc.  These people are elected to represent us and they ARE and SHOULD BE held to a higher standard than the general public.  I don’t give a rat’s ass if “they’re just human.”  If you can’t have enough moral fortitude to NOT CHEAT on your wife of 20 years – then you obviously don’t have the moral fortitude to hold a political office anywhere in this country.  I’m getting real tired of all these damned scumbag politicians lying, cheating, stealing, and getting away with it.  These people are supposed to be role models – WTF?  We shouldn’t have to explain to our children why our elected officials are corrupt or sleeping around on their spouses.  I say Sanford needs to resign and get the hell outta there.  I really liked the fact that he stood up to Obama and the Federal Government for state’s rights.  But, because of this bullshit he just pulled – it no longer matters.  He has just proven that he is as corrupt as the rest of those scumbags and he has no right to be in office.

Now – let’s not lose focus here people.  This is just another thing to keep us off track.  The Obama administration is pushing hard this week on healthcare reform.  The media is talking about N.Korea and Iran.  Sure – all of these are important issues – BUT – That is not what we need to be working no this week.  Teh One is up to his sleight of hand tricks again.  While everyone is talking about what the media and Obama wants us to talk about – they’re trying to slide the Cap-and-Trade bill through on us.  Pelosi is forcing a vote on it this Friday, June 26th, 2009 in the House.  This is that same piece of shit bill that Henry Waxman put together.  Or – actually – he didn’t put it together – he gave it to the global warmongering scientists to actually put it together.  This is that same piece of shit bill that Waxman admitted to not knowing everything in it.

According to The Heritage Foundation – the implementation of this Cap-and-Trade bill will result in a net loss of 2.5 million jobs; a GDP loss of $393 Billion each year capping at $662 Billion by 2035; and finally, by 2035 it will cost every family an additional $114,915 per year in debt payment – that already on top of the freakin’ $100,000+ each of us already owe as a result of those idiotic TARP and Spending bills.

And…what do we all get as a result of all these job losses, increased taxes, 50-90% increase in energy costs, and increased household debt? A reduction in CO2 emissions by 100ths of a percent by 2050!  Whoop-de-fucking-do!  This is the biggest freakin’ con job in American history.  There is absolutely no scientific proof that global warming is man-made.  In fact, the latest statistics prove beyond a shadow of doubt that we have been in a period of global cooling over the last decade and we will be in this cooling cycle for the next 30 years.  Check out this graphic:

Figure 2. Climate changes in the past 17,000 years from the GISP2 Greenland ice core. Red = warming, blue = cooling. (Modified from Cuffy and Clow, 1997)

and this one:

Figure 3. Alternating warm and cool cycles since 1470 AD. Blue = cool, red = warm. Based on oxygen isotope ratios from the GISP2 Greenland ice core.

As we can all see – there is evidence that Al Gore is a fucking moron and anybody who is buying his bullshit is just as stupid as he is.  Anybody that is buying in to this Obama and Waxman Cap-and-Trade bill are idiots.  This is nothing more than another wealth redistribution ponzi scheme and power grab by the government.

Please – call your Congressman and let them know you are opposed to this cap-and-trade ponzi scheme and you want them to vote NO.  If you don’t want to call them, you can always e-mail them. Use THIS LINK to find your representative and this will give you the opportunity to write them through an online form. THIS LINK will give you the ability to locate your representative and it provides their Congressional mailing address and phone number. Bill Dupray at The Patriot Room has some good links as well as a form letter to use.

UPDATE More evidence – this from the Wall Street Journal.

And – This from the Chicago Tribune – this freakin’ bill is now over 1,000 pages thick. Waxman already admitted he doesn’t know what is in this bill. Do you think ANYONE in Congress will even read this thing? Please call, write, e-mail – whatever – and tell them NO!!! America is already in the tank because of too much freakin’ government – this will put ALL of us in the poor house.

And – This from Michelle Malkin – The climate change e-mails EPA doesn’t want you to see. A clear case of the government not letting the facts get in the way of the agenda.

ANOTHER UPDATE I found THIS over at Opposing Views. This is pretty straight forward – not really sure why I hadn’t seen this anywhere else. Sure – some of the same info – but – it lays it out very clearly what will happen if cap yo ass and trade is passed tomorrow.

ANOTHER FREAKIN UPDATE? – okay – but – I’m gonna keep hammering this through as long as I can – found another great article as to why we can’t allow this bogus bill to get passed. From Real Clear Politics: Could Australia Blow Apart the Great Global Warming Scare?

Lastly – I have 10 copies of the following on order waiting for them to come in – I’ll be having a little contest to give these away – more to follow.  If you don’t want to wait – then you can click the link and order your own:

You are correct in your description of the Gov. He is a piece of horse squeeze and nothing he can say will change that. What a fucking moron is all I have to say. If Obama and the Pravda state controlled media get this cap and tax thing passed, the country is screwed! We are already are screwed, but we will be even more screwed with this crap.

Unfortunately, this sleight of hand trick is not new with our gov’t. While the media is trying to change our focus, all the worshipers will be spouting all the rhetoric they have been instructed to and the few of us with any common sense will be made to look like domestic terrorists.

This is just another step in the plan to make us a government run country through and through. I don’t know if my family can survive the rest of this egomaniacs term.

Mark Sanford is an idiot. I don’t think he realized that he was on the top of the GOP presidential list. His political career was at a high. Then he had to go screw around and get in a bunch of trouble – and now he has ruined his political life, and his real life too. I agree, he needs to step down. Anyone who can’t even hold a commitment with one person who they said that they love and will be by their side forever, cannot be accounted for to hold commitments to voters.

And it has been said before – “We have a moment of opportunity now, and we don’t want to waste that opportunity…”, well this just helps to the opportunity. The media will be talking about Sanford, and like you said North Korea and Iran, and not on something like this Cap-and-Trade bill. There really needs to be something to be done about getting the word out about legislation introduced and being voted on – more than what there already is (and I sent you an e-mail about something like this).

And Glenn Beck’s Common Sense is an awesome book. I just finished it and it really is common sense, but it’s not like we already knew about it.

Here’s my opinion on globe warming, and it all starts with oil. No matter what you believe, evolution, intelligent design, creationism, whatever, somehow, someway, oil found its way under the earth. And often, not skin deep. It’s way down there. Maybe that’s a sign that we shouldn’t be using much of it. If God or the Flying Spagetti Monster or a bunch of dead dinosaurs put it to far into the earth and made it so difficult to get to, maybe it was put there for a reason, and probably a good reason.I think we’re obviously making an impact on the environment. Billions of cars burning oil-based products, or any product for that matter, has to produce some blowback down the line, good or bad. What true impact do we have? That we don’t know.

    @Brian
We would all use less oil when it becomes cost effective for us. For now oil is the most used, and the most available to us at the moment. Now if the car industry starts producing cars the don’t use oil – like electric, solar. or any other way – and it is cost effective to us, then I am sure people will start buying those cars. That is not the case though.

But as soon as it does happen, I would jump in.

What I’ve come to realize is the Nobama administration will completely destroy America. The next thing on the radar screen is amnesty. Nothing will stop this bunch of anti-American idiots. What are they thinking? What is their reasoning? Why are they set on destroying America? I fear we are left just to watch their destruction.

Have a terrific day BoBo. :)

@Casey – if anything – I’m more disappointed and angry with Sanford than surprised. I actually thought this was a good guy. In my book, any politician that doesn’t have the good judgement to not have affairs – or fly to another freakin’ country for that matter to perpetrate it – should not be in politics at all. Still – with that having said – we really need to focus on this cap yo ass and trade bill that’s gonna wreck this economy even further.

@Inge – I’m inclined to agree with ya there.

@Brian – it’s not about the oil. This is about the fact that this bill is nothing more than a ponzi scheme to take money from we hardworking taxpayers in order to create some bogus carbon credit exchange that will do absolutely nothing to reduce carbon emissions to begin with. It’s all based on junk science. This will by no means reduce our energy use nor will it even remotely move us any closer to alternative energy. The technology isn’t there and it won’t be for decades. All this does is increase our taxes, increase the cost of food, increase the cost of consumer goods, and redistributes this money to companies favored by this administration. Check out the links I’ve provided – this is pure bogusness at it’s worst. As Bradley was alluding to – oil is the current and most efficient source of fuel and energy. Once alternatives become as efficient and technology is proven and the cost is low – the free market system would naturally move everyone towards the alternatives. But, with this idiotic bill – it eliminates the free market system within the energy sector. As long as the government is taking in huge amounts of tax money from we the people – they will do nothing to encourage moving towards other sources of energy. This is a power grab and nothing more. It has already been proven in Europe that cap-and-trade doesn’t work. Why does this government insist on continuing down that European path that they have already proven does not work in energy, healthcare, and socialism?

@Sandee – I keep hearing the “talking heads” saying Obama isn’t trying to destroy America – that he is doing this with his best intentions as misguided as they are. I say – bullshit. I wholeheartedly believe he hates America and is intentionally destroying us from the inside out.

I loved Sanford when he was advocating free market principles against the big, powerful government stimulus of Obama and his comrades. But I agree with you, Bobo. He needs to politely resign.

Cap and Trade is just a massive tax increase–Cap and Tax. It doesn’t work in Europe and it won’t work here.
