Hi,
this video explains very nice that people must not be forced into a health insurance they can’t afford BUT a where do you think that a person, who can’t afford an expensive insurance, can come up with 5000$ if he gets very sick??? 5000$ is very much and the government wants to minimize the risk that someone can’t afford those 5000$ they must pay if they have a non-expensive health insurance

@Rene – Good question. Apparently, you have been fortunate enough to not have been hospitalized. Most hospitals have payment plans and will set it up so that you can make payments based on your ability to pay knowing that insurance will pick up the remaining balance – especially for those catastrophic stays. Your assertion that the government wants to provide a non-expensive health insurance plan is wrong. You should read the actual bill. It is subsidized with taxpayer money – so – you are still paying for it. This bill will just further send this country down the path to bankruptcy. Healthcare is not a right in this country and it never should be. It is a personal responsibility and there are some very affordable plans out there. Socialized medicine does not work and never has.
