Obama Lied and his Sheep Cried

…and they fainted…and they drank from the spiked kool-aid fountain…and…they continue to deny the truth about him. He’s a socialist with marxist views and his only goal is to further the black-liberation theology. He’s using “white-guilt” to further his cause. He knows there are enough “whiteys” out there who hate this country as much as he does and feels ashamed for an event that occurred 200+ years ago and will do and say anything to try to prove they are not racists.

Being the true conservative that I am I have a subscription to National Review. This month’s issue is dedicated to Obama’s history, background, and what he really believes. Stanley Kurtz wrote an excellent article titled “True Believer: Obama was for black-liberation theology before he was against it.” He details Obama’s history and his connections to Wright, Pfleger, and interestingly, Madeline Talbott. I bet you hadn’t heard that last name yet have you? Madeline Talbott was the radical leader and organizer of the Chicago chapter of ACORN. She was known for her intimidation and illegal acts to further her activist community organization causes. ACORN stands for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. I know you have all read and heard that Obama started off his political career as a Community Organizer. Now you know how he became associated with one of the most radical community organizer activists in the country.

Kurtz further details Obama’s history by reviewing a background piece on Obama from 1995. It was written by Hank De Zutter from the Chicago Reader and was titled “What Makes Obama Run?” De Zutter followed Obama closely in those early days and conducted an interview with him for that article. He states that Obama “rejects the unrealistic politics of integrationist assimiliation – which helps a few upwardly mobile blacks to ‘move up, get rich, and moveout.’” In other words, Obama sees opportunities for blacks in America as a one-way street – either assimilate with the white-man’s world or fail. De Zutter further states that “Obama says he is ‘tired of seeing the moral fervor of black folks whipped up – at the speakers’ rostrum and from the pulpit-and then allowed to dissipate because there’s no agenda, no concrete program for change.’” This means that Obama was tired of the fire and brimstone speeches without the follow-up to encourage social change – to further the black-liberation theology. This is where we begin to see that Obama would come to support the idea of the firebranded hate speech from Wright, Pfleger and Farrakhan.

What we see here, as far back as 13 years ago, is that Obama did indeed agree with his pastor’s views. De Zutter further added, in regards to his association with Talbott, she stated publicly that “Barack has proven himself among our members…we accept and respect him as a kindred spirit, a fellow organizer.” Wouldn’t you assume that for a radical organizer to accept another individual as “a kindred spirit” and “a fellow organizer” that person would have to be of like mind and in full support of their efforts – no matter how those efforts were put forth? Many of ACORN’s and Obama’s community organizing projects were supported and “funded by south-side Catholic churches.” Can you guess who’s church was one of the primary supporters? Yup, you guessed it – Father Pfleger. It was during this time that Obama solidified his relationship with this other radical purveyor of pulpit anti-white hate speech.

While Kurtz details further more of Obama’s views of radicalism and his associations with Pfleger and Talbott – he points to a 1988 article that Obama himself wrote titled “Why Organize? Problems and Promise in the Inner City” He wrote this just after he joined the Trinity Church. Here’s what Obama wrote:

From W.E.B. DuBois to Booker T. Washington to Marcus Garvey to Malcolm X to Martin Luther King, this internal debate has raged between integration and nationalism, between accommodation and militancy, between sit-down strikes and boardroom negotiations.”

You can see here what he is leading up to – the ideology of passive resistance versus radical engagement. Which way do you think Obama was leaning? Here’s some more of Obama’s own words:

Nowhere is the promise of organizing more apparent than in traditional black churches. Possessing tremendous financial resources, membership and – most importantly – values and biblical traditions that call for empowerment and liberation, the black church is clearly a slumbering giant in the political and economic landscape of cities like Chicago.

Wow – he wrote that 20 years ago? It sure sounds like he was fomenting radicalizing black churches. Kinda sounds like words from Malcom X and Farrakhan doesn’t it? Does anyone out there still believe that he does not share the views of Wright and Pfleger? Well – here’s what else he says:

Over the past few years, however, more and more young and forward-thinking pastors have begun to look at community organizations such as the Developing Communities Project in the far south side…as a powerful tool for living the social gospel, one which can educate and empower entire congregations and not just serve as a platform for a few prophetic leaders. Should a mere 50 prominent black churches, out of thousands that exist in cities like Chicago, decide to collaborate with a trained and organized staff, enormous positive changes could be wrought.

Hmmm – who do you think those “young and forward-thinking pastors” are that he’s talking about? Also, when he’s talking about “the social gospel” he’s talking about black-liberation theology. When most of us go to church we hear about the gospel and words of Christ our savior – not advancing social policies. Furthermore, when he’s talking about “enormous positive changes” he’s not talking about society as a whole – he’s only talking about advancing the cause of black-Americans.

Obama has been a member of Trinity church for over 20 years. He only recently rejected his church. But, it wasn’t because he no longer “knows his pastor” and because he never heard those types of sermons (for indeed he has), but for political expediency. He wants to get in to the White House to further his agenda of black-liberation and nothing else. You don’t associate yourself with radical organizers for 20 years – and all of a sudden reject them and their views and ideas.

Obama has an entire flock of sheep following him right now. He looks good, sounds good, and says all the right things to pull them in. But, not one of them are looking at who he is and not one of them are asking what it is he really believes. The MSM refuses to look into his history and absolutely refuses to hold his feet to the fire and ask him about his own writings, speeches, and associations in which he furthers this radical black-liberation theology.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for anyone bettering themselves, be you black, white, red, yellow, brown, green, or any other color under this rainbow. However, I am a firm believer that you gain success through your own accomplishments and hard work. Obama believes the only way for a black man to succeed is to take whitey and “the man” (government) down and seize that power by whatever means necessary. He wants to rule the government in order to change the laws to favor blacks only and give them subsidies and more entitlements (as if there aren’t enough already).

So – while his sheep are crying and bowing at his feet every time he speaks – he utters one lie after another – never questioned about anything. It’s no wonder his wife has made the statements she has – she is just like Obama. If you want to see more of the lies that have come from this man that the MSM and his kool-aid drinkers refuse to question him on – check out DD-2′s site: Not Exactly Obama.

In the meantime – Democrats are going to vote for him just because he’s a Democrat and because he’s not McCain. Hillary has even agreed to stump for him. As we have all heard, a vast majority of her supporters have already stated they will not vote for Obama. I guess she’s taking one for the team to try to win them over. There really was not that much difference between them during the campaign. The problem is – Obama IS more radical and far more liberal and left that Hillary is. I only hope that enough Democrats out there remember what he has outwardly stated and will do the right thing come November. The more I read about this guy, the closer I’m getting to vote for McCain just to make sure Obama does not get in the White House. This guy is REALLY scary!

Obama has listened to Reverend Wright for 20 plus years, he wants you to believe he does not share the most vile views of the Reverend.
Recently at my place we had a very spirited discussion over friendship with racist views.
My friend was blasted on blog for his, lets say over the top comment about illegals.
The reason I bring it up is I have been a friend of this guy for a LONG time and I have been reading his writing longer than that, and I agree with him on MOST of his views, while I can’t nor would I ever come out and say it like he does.

If I was running for office I’d be worried about having a friend with those professed views. BUT OBAMA IS IMMUNE? why?

We are getting a steady dose of OBAMA shoved down our throats by the MSM and our choice for President is sorely lacking.

Where did you hear that.,.. about a simple majority or vast majority?

In the latter days of the primary season I heard a few pundits but pundits are not researchers or journalists. All the actual polling and discussion with actual Clinton supporters shows the opposite. A small faction says they will support McCain, another small faction says they will not vote or vote 3rd party, but the vast majority of Clinton supporters say they will support Obama in the November election.

Techfun, if you check the Rasmussen polls state by state you will see where they are stating as much as 50% of Hillary supporters refuse to vote for Obama come November and will vote for McCain – and then there are others as you stated where 35% have said they won’t vote and another 27% will vote for McCain. I would say that’s a vast majority.

    Bobo,
Great post!!! While there is a need to have him answer for many of the radical views and associations he has had over his polictal career, if that is all we have to counter him, we are in trouble.
We need to use a three pronged attack.

    1. His past views (as you have so brilliantly stated here)
    2. His lack of any actual achievement in the Senate
    3. His policies he would like to put in place as President

Prong 2 is aimed at the Hillary supporters and independents. Most of her supporters will end up supporting him. There is very little difference between Hillary and Obama. Special interested groups need to press the issue of Mich. and Florida to foment their dissappointment with these votes not being counted. If he does not choose her as VP (which I don’t think he will), then this will be very important. These groups will have to hit on his legislative nothingness. I would make commericials detailing his vote against the surge in Iraq. He will try to say he was against the war in Iraq from the beginning but I think it should be highlighted that he was not elected to the Senate until two years AFTER the vote to authorize the President to use force in Iraq. I would hit on the fact that it is easy to not to have to cast a vote with such heavy consequences and then wait to see how things are going and then come out against. I wonder how many people actually know he was not in the Senate when the votes were cast.

Prong three is for independents. With all of the programs he says he wants, taxes will go up for ALL of us to pay for them. I have never been for a tax increase on the rich (whatever that means). It is those very rich people he says he wants to tax that start business and employ people.
A windfall tax on oil company profits hurts EVERYONE. The oil companies will not just absorb those taxes, they will be passed on to the customers in the form of higher gas prices. Also, a windfall tax will hurt oil company stocks. Some of the largest holders of oil company stocks are retirement funds. So people like school teachers, police, fire, and so on will be hurt.

I know there is so much more but in an effort to save time, lets just say we need to hit this guy on many different front. You have an excellent start here. Maybe a future posts could be on prongs two and three.

I am seriously frightened. Well, as frightened as I let myself get because when I notice myself wallowing in fear I step back and away from political discussions. The idea of Obama as President scares the pee out of me.

Reasonable people who I otherwise consider smart and generally reliable are talking about voting for him. He’s hoodwinked them with his supposed charm, which I don’t find charming … I find it slimy like a used car salesman. I have no idea how to express to them the horror that is Obama. Okay…horror is a strong word. But that’s how it feels.

Is it time for me to start stuffing my mattress with money? Even then he’ll still get my taxed income. *sigh*

Dude – apparently you don’t read the news. ACORN is one of the most radical organizations and has been brought up on criminal charges several times for voter fraud and supporting illegal immigrants and for bribery of government officials, etc…all while Madeline Talbott was at the helm in various cities around this country. Madeline Talbott’s ACORN group also uses strong-arm techniques as it relates to so-called “Community Organization.” All you have to do is just a tiny little bit of research yourself and you will find all of these instances in various news reports across this country.

Regarding Jimmy Carter – he may as well be communist for as anti-semitic and anti-American as he is.

    castocreations, and others:

There is no reason to be afraid. Fear is for those who are free, and are about to lose it. We are not, and we lost our freedom almost a hundred years ago when the international bankers were allowed to have one in America. The groups that control things for them are the Council on Foreign Relations (concerning America and staffed primarily by Americans, the aforementioned Jimmy Carter one of them), the Trilateral Commission (concerning America/European/Asiatic integration affairs, the Bilderberg Group, the Club of Rome, and several others, many of which we know nothing about. All funded by the Rockefeller/Rothschild money families. They have owned the candidate on both sides of the race for the last sixty years or so. Bush Sr., as Reagans vice president, allowed some insulation between Reagan and the CFR, but Reagan supported NAFTA and the North American Union. The same thing holds for Bush Jr.

The only solution is to take back the illegal Federal Reserve Act, and take back the control of the public currency by congress.

Obama and McCain are both George Soros lapdogs, McCain since 2001. Soros, in January of 2007, had a meeting with Obama. Within days, with no “exploratory committee” or any other preludes, Obama announces his candidacy.

The scary parts have already happened. Now, there’s only the destruction of the middle class to happen, which they are in the process of doing by attacking the dollar from outside, with bad news against oil, which is denominated in dollars around the world, and from within, by getting those who support them, Democrat and Republican, to drive up the debt any way possible.

  17. The BoBoNo Gravatar Says:

Doc – while I certainly can see your point with regards to the International banking consortium and the federal reserve – I would still like to think that I do have my individual freedom. Yes, the bankers actually do control our money – and I certainly agree with you that we need to repeal that act. We the people should be in control of our own currency, interest rates, and banking policies rather than a private organization of international bankers.

But – I still have a helluva lot more freedom other than how others are controlling our money system.

Overall, though, I would have to stand by your side on this! What do you think we need to do to fix this? I’ve raled on this blog several times about how broken our system is and how all those guys in D.C. are the same regardless of what party they are in – they are all in it for the power and could care less about we little guys stuck in the middle.

  18. Doc NeavesNo Gravatar Says:

The solution is clear. We must clear our debt. Start by clearing the credit cards first, then bag money, investing it preferrably in something indexed to gold and/or other currencies in order to stop the attack on your dollars. Keep money stashed, because when the depression comes (and it’s coming, let me tell you), you’ll lose your job, and everything bought on credit will be in danger of being taken away. Cash will still make payments on any bill, while paying off those bills early (unless you’re paying a high interest rate) only clears THAT bill. Keep about ten percent of your stash in your house, and ten percent of that in gold coins (not collectables, but bullion, something measured and certified). When paying off the car will not take more than a fourth of your stash, pay it off, same for any other big ticket item, the house last. Before you pay a chunk down on your house to get the balance down, refinance instead so that the payment comes down, too. Buy food in bulk, learn to cook from scratch, and hug your children every day, making sure they keep their eyes open to the truth. Just to let you in on a little secret, even Fox can only report what they’re allowed (or told, for that matter)

And we must demand that our congressmen clear our national debt. We must move to a system of not spending money until it’s been collected. Yes, the Federal Reserve Bank must be taken over, and the act repealed, but we still need a Federal Reserve, which SHOULD be holding our gold (that has all been sold off). Vote against every spending bill, no matter what it contains, vote against any bill that gives anyone more powers, especially the banking system.

As to your freedom…well, yes, to some degree, you still have it, but only to the point that they feel the leash is long enough for them, not you. Notice the Supreme Court, baldfaced as possible, sat there and said the Second Amendment applies to individuals (the murky part), then totally missed the log in their eye…”SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” doesn’t mean “Can be infringed just a little, in a reasonable manner, if we feel like it this week”. By a handgun, a short shotgun (18 inches is legal, but if you put the extenders in to have more shots, it needs to be longer anyway, you’re just trying to cut down the swing a little, Remington 870 pumps work best in my opinion, but I’d consider an auto, too…better yet, the new AA-12, look it up, it’s awesome), and lots of ammo, because it will get scarce before you need it.

Don’t mean to scare you, but to be prepared is always better if you know what you’re facing.

Wow – Doc – that’s pretty apocalyptic there! Yes, I agree we are headed in the wrong direction as far as our money, debt, and economy goes. However, I don’t see it being near as dire as you are predicting. Personally, I think it was the wrong move to go off the gold standard – especially now that gold is skyrocketing. I actually got in to the market back when it was still around $420. I do have the bullion, as well as the gold eagles.

Other than for preparation, what you stated is good financial judgement as well. We as individuals need to reduce all of our debt. I personally no longer use credit cards unless it is an emergency (does grease paint count?) – if we can’t buy it in cash now, we consider it as we can’t afford it. I also have to agree with you regarding our so-called elected officials and the national debt. I know that if Obama gets in that debt will only increase and our taxes will skyrocket. However, I don’t see McCain as being a whole helluva better with regards to that either. Sure, he talks a good game about pork-barrel spending and earmarks – but – no one is jumping on that bandwagon with him. They are all in the pockets of special interest groups and are self-serving.

Excellent points made – but – I’m not any where near that apocalyptic feeling yet. I have started making preparations personally – not to the extent you’ve mentioned – but – I do feel that we need to stock up on food supplies, if for anything due to the fact that our food supply costs are about to go through the roof! Those Sam’s Club memberships are going to be popular!

Hey Brian – I have always subscribed to open discussions on this blog – I take all opinions. The only thing I delete or deny is the spam comments.

Regarding how I feel about Obama – now that we’ve come down the road a few months from this post:

While I am not entirely sure he’s out to get “whitey” – from what we have learned about him – I do not trust this man at all.  He has flipped on EVERY single issue that he campaigned on in the primaries.  He is nothing more than another politician.  This guy does not represent change any more than McCain does.  Him selecting a 30 year veteran senator proves that point.  All of his associations proves that either he is corrupt or he truly is a practitioner of marxism or borderline anarchy.

He IS the most liberal senator in D.C.  The 4th most liberal senator is a self-professed Socialist.  What does that make Obama?

He cannot give a speech.  He reads very well from a teleprompter and delivers a teleprompted speech very well.  However, he cannot speak from the top of his head.  He has to use the teleprompter to stay on message.  We have seen when he doesn’t use a teleprompter – the real Obama – the socialist Obama – the far left Obama – actually comes out.  He is too far from mainstream centrist America.  Most of America is in the middle somewhere.  Admittedly, I’m pretty far right of center – but not beyond the point of reason.  Obama is trying to move to the center to be elected – but – he is no Bill Clinton.  His associations proves just how far left of center he really is.

The POTUS should be a humble, yet strong, individual.  Obama is arrogant.  We don’t need arrogance in the whitehouse.  We saw what happened with FDR.  Obama makes FDR look like Bush 41.

I don’t hate the guy – I just don’t agree with anything he says and he is most definitely wrong for this country.
