Palin Resigns – You have to admit this is funny.

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: Funnies, Humor, Palin

h/t to Roger at Peripheries for sending this to me. You do have to admit – this is actually funny.

Hey – if we can’t laugh at this stuff then they’ve already got us! For you real hard-liners – lighten up – it IS funny even though the Lefties continue to compare any of us on the right to Hitler. Funny how they don’t realize that the Fascist Obama is closer to Hitler than anybody on the right.

    It’s pretty funny! But again ti’s hard to see it as funny seeing that move was a brilliant reenactment.. I’m sort of tied in the middle here.

    @Brian – I know – I saw this last year used for something else – but – I can’t remember what it was.  Either way – I still thought it was creative. LOL.

    The difference between us and them is that we *can* laugh at ourselves. I thought Tina Fey’s impersonation of Sarah was funny… I thought Will Ferrell’s impersonation of Bush was funny (until he became so mean-spirited about it)…

    @Jana – it does seem those libs take themselves too seriously doesn’t it.  It’s okay as long as they are making fun of conservatives – but when you go after a lib -they think its an attack and insulting.  oh well.

    @Steve – thanks – much appreciated.

    As one of “those libs”, I can say that I can take a joke directed at my viewpoint/the politicians I support.  I have found some of the jokes about Obama very funny.

    I won’t paint all conservatives with a broad brush, but some of you have been over the top when it comes to reacting to the jokes directed at your side.  I’d like to think that the average conservative was mortified by the behavior of some calling for David Letterman to be fired for the jokes he made about Sarah Palin and her daughter.

    @Malcolm – okay – perhaps maybe I and some of my commenters painted all libs with a broad brush.  It’s glad to know there are those that can take a joke.  With regards to your response regarding the Letterman incident – I’m in agreement with you.  I would like to believe that true conservatives would not be calling for his resignation as we believe in the constitutional right to the freedom of speech.  Sure, what he said was egregious – but – he has to suffer the consequences of his words – but – that doesn’t need to be a resignation.  I think that call is probably in reaction to the consistent calls from the left and the likes of Sharpton and Jackson who regularly call for the resignation of right wing talk show hosts – and those hosts end up getting fired.  I don’t think it is fair for either side to call for anybody’s resignation for what they said unless what was said is so inflammatory that it is necessary.  None of the firings of the talk show hosts should have occurred.  It was simply as a result of Sharpton and Jackson rallying the masses.

    Can anyone real tell me that you were impressed by her exit speech? You can’t real believe that she is the only person that can win in 2012. You know, if she can’t take a joke, don’t get in the game, its politics, they all get kicked around. Let me paint you a picture, in my opinion, for the last eight years where the mantra was no regulation and no oversight and spread to all federal agencies and the justice department was filled by unqualified religious types and the dullard (ex-drunk) religious president started two wars of choice with extreme tax dollar spending, is anyone surprised with our current economic situation because of those choices. Sure “W” sucker the religious right to vote for him and that’s why he placed unqualified people in positions of responsibility and they failed (almost a “plan to fail”), do you forget Katrina, where the Director of FEMA Michael D. Brown, was relieved of his duties because of incompetence? Or can you forget disgraced White House correspondent James Guckert, AKA Jeff Gannon, the male escort, why was a male escort getting into the Whitehouse, hmmm? I know it was Barney Frank’s fault, he controls the county and republicans had their hands tied (even though 7 of the last 8 years they had the majority and the presidency to do something (fact or fiction?), but not the will to act). Oh, by the way I read that God blog, very funny, it reminds me of those TV evangelists who claim the talk to God and want so and so foreign country leader to be killed or such and such a us state to be punished by God for a court ruling that intelligent design is just another word for religion. We had enough of religious dullards in our government. If you believe that the USA has strayed from God then go out to your communities and preach to your neighbors, the sick, the shut ins, the poor and invite them to take part in your church, build a community. But I know that’s hard work we want a government official to do that for us, well they tried that and look where it left us, in the gutter, but our country does not quit and we will rise again. Do you remember how Ronald Reagan got us out of a recession? By spending and we will do the same. But she is just another “W” in heels and she is stringing the religious right along, she will sell you her books, her radio/TV shows and speaking engagements. Lastly, I do not want you to believe what I believe, so please keep writing, feel free, I am starting to enjoy this.

    “Do you remember how Ronald Reagan got us out of a recession? By spending and we will do the same.”*Chuckles* BoBo, my beter half asks, Oh DarrhLing, where DO you find these lovely moonbats?!?! I simply MUST shop where you do, their simply to DIE for dear!…*snort*Um no, Actually probably, no you wont. Oh the economy will recovery in time, it is a cyclical process but the spending going on now will do nothing to achieve that as it produces…nothing. In fact there is now evidence to the contrary that the Obama administration and its reckless spending is impeding the recovery. A recession that is now in 20th plus month longest since WWI, stagnate and stubborn job out look, still stuttering housing market,  and a rather medicor Stock market. These serve as proof, and fly in the face of any assertion to the contrary, Despite any cheer-leading going on for Obama in the press and people like you, this rescession is far from over. Aptly the Man has now tacked backwards claiming he never said it would be a fast process, which if you research it, is a staggeringly arrogant lie. Him and numerous other Democrats claimed on camera , in The legislative process, and in the press in Feb that the stimulus would have an “immediate effect” That Unemployment would be checked, and that 3-4 million jobs would be created, that is now demonstrably false. unemployment alone is now 9.5 according to governmental figures, which don’t account to those no longer getting benefits, and those who are under-employed. In reality Unemployment has broke 10%.and in industrial areas like MI hovers just south of 20% Why?
    Because the stimulus failed. Sending money to a Symphony in Texas, a Community orgnaizer outfit like ACORN, the UAW, and pet liberal projects in San Fransico, that have been shown to be rife with graft and corruption serves no purpose in “stimulating” anything, as again, it produces a sum of ZERO. It buys votes, nothing more. In all fairness the Market is making some smaller strides to recovery, but when the spending and the debt continues it will pull back, it always has, this is nothing more than what they call in trader circles a “suckers” rally. Additionally, Regan did spend, you are 100% percent correct he spent heavily on defense which had the effect of ramping up entire broad sectors of the economy, Electric Boat, General Dynamics, Raytehon, Lockheed, Boeing, McDonald Douglas etc, all huge corporations with literally tens of thousands of employees, and thousands of smaller corporations ramping up below them to provide the goods and serevices the big fish needed to fulfill their contracts and job requirements. This was poo-pooed iin the liberal press as The famous “Trickle Down or Reganonomics” The miltary expanded by large numbers as well giving millions of young unskilled American men and women a leg up. I am one such that served under Regan, and today it is because of President Regan I am able to pull a 6 figure a year salary. His legacy is and was cemented in stone. Let’s try not to tarnish that with comparing what the government is doing today as to what it did during Regans tenure, becasue it is exact polar opposites. Need more Contrast? Compare Regan’s policy  on defense spending with  Obama who is eviscerating the defense budgets as we speak. Furthuremore, you’re implications that W spent the county into oblivian is utter nonsesne,The DOW topped as of today’s close almost 25% HIGHER  under his watch, unemployment was considerd negligable for well over 5 years under his watch at below 5 %. GDP as well as tax revenues were the highest ever seen in the nations history. These are historical facts, not some fictional hyper partisan talking points foisted by an utterly inept clueless segement of dumbed down electorate looking for their their next check. Yet somehow you and the rest of Obama’s democrat cabal insist that it is was and always will be Bushes fault, utterly dismissing the disaster that the CRA caused, the unchecked spending by this administration which again ,a pesky fact, has outpaced Bush by a margin of 2 to 1 and getting worse.. It is the weakest of arguments and any rational thinking human can see it for what it is…. propaganda. Simply fact of the matter is, Obama’s had the helm now almost 8 months, liberals like you screamed, catuerwalled, and hyper ventilated long and loud that Bush should have done something about 9-11 after all he had been in office for 8 MONTHS!!!11! (What the “something” is you can’t ever get a liberal to say, they generally give you a deer in the head lights look when asked that same question) So now, you and your pal, Obama? Well you see friend… you own the economy, you took ownership the day you spent my childrens their childrens and probaly my great grand childs wealth, you called “stimulus” you own it lock stock and barrel, you stated it would be “immediate “and it’s not working….so don’t come back now and blame it on the boogey man Bush, ….as they say in my neck of the woods in TN..”That dog don’t hunt”.See ya around comarade.
