ACLU trying to tear down a WWI Memorial

h/t to Jan – This is a must see video. If you don’t pass on the video – please – at least pass on the story. The ACLU is currently in the process of trying to have this WWI Veteran Memorial torn down and removed from the Mojave Desert in California. Why would they do this? To appease one man who lives in Oregon that has never even driven by or seen the memorial. He wants it removed just because he “might” see it one day. This is atrocious and an egregious act not only against our military – but – it is also an attack against Christianity as well. Please take the time out to view this video and let others know. We can’t allow them to remove this memorial to our service members. Show your support, go to Don’t Tear Me Down and sign their petition. If you’re a blogger – add their widget – you can see mine on the side there. You can also follow them on Twitter, and Facebook.
Please use the “share this” button below and share it with everyone you know through whatever services you have. Stumble, Digg, Propeller, etc – this is an important story and needs to get out there. Take the video and put it up on your blogs too.

ACLU Wants to Tear Down a 75 Year Old WWI Veteran’s Memorial…
Please take the time to watch this video. The ACLU is at it again. This time they want to tear down a WWI Veteran’s Memorial that has been in the Mojave Desert for 75 years. What is behind this is outrageous….

I saw this last week and feel the same as you. Once more the minority imposing their will on others because they can. The current climate created by this administration will bring out these idiots in droves. Personal freedoms and choice? Forget it. The ACLU would do well to think about the veterans who fought to give them the right to do what they do. Arrogance and contempt, lunacy unlimited…ACLU!

@Edisto Joe – the lunacy of the left and the ACLU are endless. I believe you are right – this current administration breeds contempt for our military and for sure there will be more of these kinds of attack. It’s a sad in America.

This is one of the more appalling things I have heard of late. It’s bad enough that too many of our Vets are treated as sub-human (just think of VA hospitals) but to add this insult is absurd. Thanks for bringing awareness of this issue to the fore.

Thanks for placing the video on the Mohave Desert Memorial on your Website BobO. That is why I sent it to you, to get more attention drawn to this absurd case!
As you know I was married to a Viet Nam helicopter pilot & our youngest son has been serving in the Army for 14+ years. He’s had 3 tours in Iraq & just returned home with a Bronze Star & numerous Air Medals. Yes, I AM PROUD!
The ACLU has been given too much reign and power and it is time for the people who enjoy the freedom these brave military men & women have given us, and given THEM! It’s hard to believe that such nonsense could be allowed to happen in America. The person who started this suit in Oregon should be ashamed of himself…all of this for his “15 minutes of fame” so-to-speak!
