The BoBo Carnival of Politics – July 27th, 2009 Edition
Posted by: The BoBo // Category: A Nation at Risk, BoBo, Carnival, Congress, Conservative, Liberals, Obama, Politics, Socialism, Taxes, government, libertarianYes, I know – I’ve been absent and this is a day late. The family and I decided to take a break and we headed off to Disney for a week. Yes, I had access to the computer, my blog, and my e-mails – but – I decided to really just unplug completely. It really does a world of good to unplug and just enjoy the family. I’ll put up some pix later this week with some more details of the vacation. In the meantime, here is this week’s Carnival. Lots of stuff to get through! I have commented on some. For those who I haven’t had a chance to get to – I’ll be back later to read, review, and comment.
Conservative
lsm presents The Secret of Population Control Revealed posted at awaken the elephants blog.
I remember reading that quote also – this woman is the epitome of the 20′s American Progressives who gave Hitler the idea of Eugenics and mass-murdering Jews.
lsm presents Teddy and Mary Jo: A 40 Year Love Story posted at awaken the elephants blog.
Thanks for this reminder. Everyone needs to know this story. Karma is a bitch. Since he already seems to have forgotten about it, I don’t think his brain cancer will do anything except just help him to forget all the other rotten shit he did to the rest of America.
Lavender presents A Look At Health Care posted at News for Freedom Daily.
I plan on posting up my thoughts and analysis this week as well. Thanks for the links and visuals. I used that Justin video myself. Short, but effective.
Scott Spiegel presents Everybody Gets Health Insurance! Everybody Gets Health Insurance! posted at Scott Spiegel.
Thanks – that was going to be one of my main points as well. I’ve been reading through this bill and that one provision should be enough for everyone to want this thing to pass. Great analysis.
Silicon Valley Blogger presents Profit From The Weak U.S. Dollar With Currency Plays And Other Strategies posted at The Digerati Life, saying, “How to deal with a devalued dollar.”
Selkirk presents Ladies, Are You Listening? posted at Political Castaway Blog: Broadcasting Conservatism to Rescue America.
Liberal
Rick Foreman presents The ?Big Government? Boogie Man posted at Waiting for the Singularity.
Libertarian
Wenchypoo presents Wenchypoo’s Health Care Proposal posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket.
Interesting proposal there Wenchypoo. Eating healthy. Hmmm. Food for thought – pun intended.
Jared Rhoads presents Choose the field YOU want posted at The Lucidicus Project, saying, “Med students should choose the field or specialty that THEY want, not what Obama thinks we need in order to “serve the needy.”"
And I’m not sure Ms. Aggarwal is the only one making these statements either. With Obamacare – it will practically doom our medical industry as well as no one will want to be a practicing physician here in the U.S. under his strict rules. Physicians will no longer be making the decisions about our healthcare, D.C. bureaucrats will have all the power of our health and health care.
Miscellaneous
Bob Brooks presents Will the Government Bail-Out CIT? posted at Prudent Money Market Outlook.
Bob Brooks presents Too Big of a Deal is Being Made of Variable Rates posted at Bob Brooks – Prudent Money Blog.
News
Madeleine Begun Kane presents Kindle Swindle? posted at Mad Kane’s Political Madness.
I read about this on somebody else’s blog as well. Glad I don’t have a Kindle!
Terri Choate presents Health Care for the Generic Person posted at Plum Duff…not your ordinary gruel!.
If I’m not mistaken, Singer believes parents should be able to “abort” their children up to the age of 2 years old. I don’t think I would listen to this guy regarding “rationing” of healthcare!
Lavender presents Swine Flu: Deadly Vaccine posted at News for Freedom Daily.
I had planned on doing my dissertation on TB – but with the Swine Flu reaching pandemic proportions, I’ve switched now to H1N1. You are right on target with this assessment on the flu vaccine. There currently is no vaccine available – and these soon to be on the market vaccines are a very deadly alternative to no vaccine at all. Thanks for sharing.
Hal LaPray presents Cancer-Stricken Social Security Claimant Makes YouTube Plea To Obama posted at Disability Information & Resources.
Rick Foreman presents Health Care Is A Human Right posted at Waiting for the Singularity.
Rick Foreman presents We?re Number One posted at Waiting for the Singularity.
Politics
Wenchypoo presents Meet the New Boss—Ollie Garchy posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket.
Good one! Ollie Garchy. Of all the one’s you mentioned, I’m in a toss up between ACORN and Goldman Sachs. Definitely have a problem with GS taking over our treasury department.
Woodwards Friend presents Dyspathy | DYSPATHY LIFTS DETROIT IN CAMPAIGN SIGNS posted at Dyspathy.
I hate those freakin’ snipe signs. All they do is litter the streets every election season. And worst of all – they seem to stick around forever even after the elections. They should be fined for every day after the election that they stay up. Humorous post by the way.
James J. Gormley presents Making the “Cut”: What the Latest Recall Tells us … and Doesn’t posted at The Gormley Files, saying, “So we’ve all read the headlines about the recent recall of a line of 14 dietary supplements due to 23 reports of serious adverse events linked to (but not proved to caused by) the weight-loss and bodybuilding products in question.”
RE Ausetkmt presents Hell-ooooooo Eric, are you Home ? We?re STILL Out Here Waiting For Ya posted at BadGalsRadio – RootsRock since 99′, saying, “Hello World – when will we see the same picture ? torture is wrong, and illegal – remember ?”
