That’s the thing, though…people who buy into the conspiracies don’t really have working brain cells with which to reason, so no matter how much proof comes out, they’re not going to buy it.  Their loss!  It takes a lot of energy to be suspicious of everyone else.

Tiffany is absolutely correct – this will not convince any of the conspiracy theorists because they don’t want it too!  They don’t have enough brain power to view the world like the rest of us, plus they NEED something like the 911 conspiracy in their lives so they can feel like they are rebelling against something.  Rebelling makes people think they are doing something important, because they are going against the establishment and the government has always been, and will always be, the easiest target.  It’s a shame that they don’t direct their energy toward debunking, I don’t know, “speculating” oil prices or something.

Throughout history, people have been born and raised to be proud of the country they came from, no matter what country it is; and the same is true to even a higher degree when it comes to Americans.  We are raised to believe we live in the best country, the richest country, the country most full of promise and just like anywhere else, there are people who are skeptical when it comes to taking what a government says at face value, especially when it comes to the fact that throughout history, the same country that has you brainwashed to know the pledge of allegiance and recite it on a dime by the time you’re 4 years old, is also a country of great hypocrisy.  Now, taking this first statement, the reason that there are more people who will believe something the government says and by default, deem all people who think differently as ‘morons’, your words, is just another form of being brainwashed to the point where you, and all of your commentators here, will stand up for what their government says and not even be the least bit open to thinking differently–Because then you would be Unamerican.  Again, this is all part of the brainwashing.
It isn’t liberals who believe that 9/11 was an inside job, even the greatest part of liberals believed we should have went to war when we did.  It isn’t what we’re affiliated as; when 9/11 happened (even though there are many sources that knew it was going to happen, tried to warn as many people as they could and even then we weren’t listening) most people were on the same page saying that we needed to go get one person who was deemed at fault to be the person who started all of this.
After 9/11, after we were getting into this war that was said to be accomplished years ago, there were many people who were on the news who were trying to tell people that it was an inside job, that even when it came to the architecture and how the World Trade Centers were built, it was frankly impossible to knock these buildings down with a plane, two planes, even 5 planes that rivaled in size to the ones that actually hit these towers.
I love how you put a picture of the top half of the building up and had the audacity to rule out that it could have been an inside job, but if you were to watch the footage in slow motion, you would see that the building had already started to collapse by the time the first plane hit and that is impossible.  Not to mention the people that were in these buildings and were lucky enough to get out before they were killed said that they had heard an explosion coming from the basement, yet the plane didn’t hit the basement.
I guess you still didn’t watch that movie I sent you, which doesn’t surprise me in the least because perhaps it would get you out the business of deeming people who don’t agree with everything you say as ‘morons.’  It wouldn’t put you with the majority of the population who still believe that an act of terrorism had happened TO America and not BY America.  America has been starting their own wars since the beginning–Every ‘great’ war we have had was because America started it.  I know that writing out this comment was probably a waste of time, but at least I got some sort of reason injected into your comments and hey, I didn’t even have to call you a moron.

Oh, Holly – to be young and naive again.  No, I haven’t watched the movie yet – but – when I get a spare 2 hours – I promise I will.  Now – I don’t know how you can say that the south tower was beginning to collapse before the first plane hit.  The first plane hit the south tower at 8:48am.  The South tower did not collapse until 9:59 am – almost a full hour after the plane hit it.  The North Tower was  hit by the second plane at 9:03am – that tower did not collapse until 10:28am – almost 1.5 hours after the plane hit and and half an hour after the first tower fell.

JP jet fuel burns at close to 2000 degrees kelvin – since the planes hit the tops of the towers the jet fuel was liquid fire pouring down and melting the steel on its way down.  First – how do you think steel is made?  It is heated, molten, iron ore that is molded and formed.  Steel becomes very malleable at the heat the JP fuel would be creating.

Here are the timelines for you – including a video timeline – the south tower is NOT collapsing before the first plane hit.

This isn’t about believing what the government tells us – this is about believing what we personally witnessed with our own eyes.  You might want to take some physics classes if you really don’t understand how those buildings were able to collapse after being exposed to such temperatures.

@Monica – I’ll never personally understand it.  Sure sounds like you had fun in those chat rooms.  I used to screw around with people in them as well.  AOL should bring them back again!

Good post! I gave it a Digg. I am usually a pretty even tempered guy and can disagree without being disagreeable, but when it comes to the 911 deniers I can’t tolerate such stupidity.  I think the best thing Bill Clinton ever said was when he lost his cool and said to some 911 deniers, “You’re fucking nuts!”

Oh BoBo – to be brainwashed to such a degree you can’t watch a movie that argues against your brainwashed belief system for the sole fact that it argues against your belief system.  I’m sure if it was a conservative documentary on how bad the democrats and liberals are you’d have watched it just so you could blog about it.
