I loved this video when I first saw it in my inbox.  A friend of mine sent it to me.  I hate Obama and I hope and pray that he will NOT get elected!

I saw this on another blog this weekend.
My son and I watched it over and over again.
My son has signed up for U.S.M.C and will be leaving in June next year (although he’s hoping to graduate sooner to leave sooner).
Alot of what I hear from those that are serving in Iraq or have seem to be saying the same thing.  The Iraqi people are good people and most are welcoming the assistance.  Interesting how our media says it all different.  I’m more apt to believe the folks that are there every day.
    Thanks for posting this BoBo.

I saw this in another blog also, but I’m glad you’re posting it here also. The more people see it the better. I agree with Raider and hope that the McCain camp uses it also. Tasha

After I received this in my e-mails – I knew I needed to post this up.  It has gotten a lot of views on You Tube – but I haven’t seen it out here anywhere on the blogosphere.  I’m glad to hear that at least one other person has it posted it.  I agree McCain should use it.

My step-son is in the Army and is slated for Iraq as well.  The people in his brigade who have been rotating in and out are saying the same thing – our media is not reporting the truth at all.

That is a great video, and it ties in so well with my article from this evening.  Talking with my hero, she told me of her experiences over the and the morale of the troops.  While there are many mistakes made during the war (and what war doesn’t have them), the performance of our troops and the sacrifices they’ve made is to be honored and respected.  The say of “All gave some, some gave all” holds true with those that serve.  While they might not lose their life or a limb, they do lose time with their families and they do lose a portion of their “soul,” that is, a part of their personality and perception on life, while defending the ideals of our nation.

This is perhaps one of those few times that I may disagree with something you posted BoBo…I severely dislike Obama and I don’t want to come to his rescue at all because I don’t want him elected any more than the next libertarian does.
I completely respect the military- my father is a veteran and my grandfathers before him. I could never do what these men and women volunteer to do and I have the utmost gratitude for their sacrifices.
I also DO think that the start of the Iraq war was a bit of a blunder. I supported us going in based on the imminent doom that we were told was there. There are few who won’t say today that we were presented with wrong evidence. To find out that some of the best and smartest people in the world were WRONG makes me feel extraordinarily frustrated. I do not think we were lied to or that evidence was tampered, but that it was misinterpreted.
There have certainly been some great things come out of the war for Iraq- and I do think we need to clean up our messes before leaving. I don’t think that what has happened since it all started was a mistake, but I don’t see how anyone can say that entering the war in the first place wasn’t a mistake made at the cost of many lives and many US dollars.

@Luann – perhaps it was your connection.  I know it loads up fairly quickly for me, same with the video.  Do you have a firewall on maybe?  I know that on some sites I frequent, I need to disable my firewall temporarily to get them to load up.
@Josie – I don’t disagree with your assertions either.  I, like many other Americans and others around the world, believed that Saddam had WMD – we saw him use it on his own people.  Coming from the intelligence community myself, I know for a fact what his capabilities were.  I know in days leading up to our pre-emptive strike – convoys of Russian trucks were seen leaving and entering Syria.  I still say there was WMD – it got moved.
I also agree there were many mistakes made – for instance – understimating the insurgency.  We didn’t send enough troops in from the beginning.  Had we done what was necessary at the beginning – we wouldn’t be here today.  However, the point to this video is that we are there, regardless of how we got there, we are and we need to bring the troops home systematically and victoriously.  Obama is calling for an immediate withdrawal, the media is painting our troops as invaders and occupiers, and Dem Senators are painting our troops as criminals.  Obama is on the same side of those issues.
I do support McCain’s position on Iraq – and that is the point to this video.  War is always tragic.  But, things have gotten better over there and the majority of the Iraqi’s appreciate what we have done there.  I can understand they may be getting weary of our presence – that’s understandable.  If I put myself in their place – I too think I would get tired of seeing men with machine guns walking my streets every day.  But, we need to withdraw the right way and make sure that Iraq is a stable country in that region.  They are in the middle of a hornet’s nest.

Josie,I will back the Bobo up on this.  You see, the Bobo and I served together in the US Air Force.  It is true, Saddam used WMDs on his own people.  He used them on the Iranians during the Iran/Iraq war.  After the first Gulf War, the UN weapons inspectors found the WMDs that Saddam wanted them to find.  So the UN found/proved his having WMDs. The problem was, the UN allowed Saddam to take over the inspection process.  The UN was never given out-right access to sites.  When inspectors showed up at sites around Baghdad, the sites were off-limits until the directors of the sites could get “permission” from the Iraqi government.  This so-called “permission” would take hours, days, or weeks, all the while Iraqi government vehicles were moving in and out of the site.  If the inspection team wanted to inspect a site outside of the capital, they had to take a UN chartered helicopter.  They had to file a flight plan at least 24 hours in advance.  The flight plan of course contained the destination.  Now the UN knew they had the WMDs, the Ciinton admin knew, the British knew, the Germans, the French, the Russians, and the Israelis.  All those people people could not be wrong.  When you tell someone you are going to invade and why for six months prior to actually invading them, well then the smart man (Saddam was no dummy) would hide the WMDs.  Saddam expected to survive the invasion as the leader of Iraq just as he had the first Gulf War.  If you remember, he sent most of his air force to Iran during the beginning of the first war.  He did the same with the WMDs prior to this one.  The only difference, he knew Iran would not give them back, especially since he used them against the Iranians.  The Iranians didn’t give much back from the first Gulf War.  It was also in the Russians best interested for the WMDs to be taken out of Iraq.  The Russians supplied Saddam with almost all of his military hardware (the French made up the rest) along with WMDs.  The Russians didn’t want us to get our hands on their WMDs.  I too, believe there were many mistakes made during this war but we had to go in.  While Iraq did not have the delivery systems to launch WMDs against us, they could have easily given them to someone like Al Qaeda to bring into the US.  It does not take much of a biological agent dropped into a major US cities’ water supply to kill a lot of people.  If you can’t get your hands on all of the WMDs, then you must take out the regime who would give them to some pretty unsavory characters.
