Warning! Obama more determined than ever to pass Obamacare

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: Congress, Democrats, Obama, P-BO, Politics, health care, progressives

Apparently, the political elite progressives in D.C. think they are smarter than WE THE PEOPLE and we just  don’t understand anything.  Apparently, they believe we are too stupid to understand they are doing what is best for WE THE PEOPLE and that we just don’t get it.  Apparently, those idiots don’t understand that 65% of this country have shouted from the tops of our lungs to stay away from our health insurance.

I am on Obama’s Organizing for America e-mail list.  This is the e-mail I received on Saturday – just one day after he publicly announced that health reform is dead on the hill.

An alarming new study shows that health care costs increased last year at the fastest rate in more than a half century.

Health care spending rose to an estimated $2.5 trillion in 2009, or $8,047 per person — and is now projected to nearly double by 2019. If we don’t act, this growing burden will mean more lost jobs, more families pushed into bankruptcy, and more crushing debt for our nation.

The conclusion is clear: This isn’t a problem we can kick down the road for another decade — or even another year. We need to pass health reform now.

First, the most obvious thing in this e-mail is it does no provide the citation of this “new study.”  Second, the reason that health care spending is on the rise is due to Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP. Private sector spending is 55% of total spending (this includes private insurance and self-pay).  Right now, government spending on health care is 6.7% of GDP and it is expected (without factoring in for this bullshit bill) government spending on healthcare will increase to 18.2% of GDP by 2050.  We’re seeing the effects of that now.  Private sector spending will decrease while government sector increases.  These tactics by the progressives are nothing but fear mongering.  Government run healthcare continues to increase because of fraud, waste, and abuse.  Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP lose $100′s of billions every year due mostly to fraud.  Healthcare fraud in the government run system is so prolific that organized crime is now involved – that alone is a $60 billion/year industry.  You don’t see this in private sector health care because private insurers employ resources that actually search out and combat this kind of fraud.

Despite our pleas with the government to stop – and despite the fact the GOP is taking Democrat seats left and right and are poised to completely take control of Congress in November – Obama came out saying this yesterday

“Just in case there’s any confusion out there, let me be clear. I am not going to walk away from health insurance reform,” Obama said, in one of his most feisty speeches since his 2008 election campaign.

“I’m not going to walk away from the American people. I’m not going to walk away on this challenge. I’m not going to walk away on any challenge.’

I guess we’re just too stupid to take care of ourselves and this idiot President is going to keep drilling it in our heads until we finally get it.  Well – we’re up to his challenge also.  I say – bring it on idiot – this will seal the doom for the progressives once and for all.

Townhall Protestors – Beware – The REAL Mob has been called in.

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, ACORN, America, Congress, Conservative, Democrats, Freedom of Speech, Harry Reid, Obama, Politics, President, RINO, government, health care

Wow, my hometown of Tampa had a major blowout at the Townhall meeting on healthcare tonight.  Damned, I wish I were there tonight.  But – here’s the deal – the Dems are so freakin’ scared of WE the PEOPLE that they have called out the REAL MOB – union organizers have now been contracted out to attend the townhall meetings in order to “counter” your protests.

Scroll down to the bottom of this article and here is what you find:

Also Thursday, the AFL-CIO announced plans to mobilize labor activists to attend town hall meetings in 50 congressional districts this month to counter the conservative protesters.

Make sure you read the rest of that entire article – Freakin’ Harry Reid is saying these townhall protests by we conservative Americans are staged.  He is so fuckin arrogant and out of touch that he can’t believe that the country really is outraged by their activities up there.  Sure, you and the rest of the idiot dems just keep it up – you are all but guaranteeing your asses are gone in 2010.  You RINO’s out there supporting this power grabbing bill and others like Cap and Trade – this serves as a warning to you to – you have awoken a sleeping giant – America is finally starting to pay attention and we aren’t going to take any of your shit either.

I’m also getting sick and tired of the media siding with the libs continuing the lies and trying to state these protests are organized by Republicans and other media talking heads.  Guess what – these are REAL Americans with REAL issues.  Every article I have read about these townhall protests always state, as if it were fact, that these are all orchestrated and everyone who questions their representatives are just plants.  Forget the polls now state that almost 60% of the population is against this bill.  You just keep up your biased reporting – its no wonder MSM outlets are tanking everywhere.

The point of this post is for all of you that will be attending townhall meetings – be prepared to get roughed up by union thugs – if you don’t believe it – check out the link regarding the Tampa townhall meeting.  Some SEIU thugs beat up one of the protestors outside of the doors to the meeting.  Obama has turned his administration in to a thugocracy by fascist means and he is using his ACORN and SEIU goons to stifle your freedom of speech.

Keep up the good fight people – there is a paradigm shift going on – we need to make sure the politicians once again fear the people.

Next up – The Death to America Healthcare Reform Bill

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: A Nation at Risk, America, Democrats, Fascism, Freedom, Liberals, Obama, Politics, government

Hey all…I’m back!  Okay – not at 100% yet – but – nevertheless – back to blogging and ready to take on those idiots on the left that want to push this piece of shit universal healthcare bill on America.  First, I want to thank all of you who came by and commented and left well wishes.  It is appreciated.

As you all know – the idiots in the house passed the healthcare reform bill out of committee and is expected on the house floor next week for a full vote.  I have the full text of that bill here (H.R. 3200) if anyone else is interested in reading it.  The plan this week is to try to get through this almost 1,100 page monstrosity and report on it here before the vote comes up.

From what I have read so far – this bill does absolutely nothing to reform healthcare in America.  In fact, this is no more than another wealth redistribution scheme, as was the tax and crap bill, to take money from the successful and give it to the slackers who won’t own up to their own responsibility to take care of themselves and their families.  Worst yet, it uses the unions and really big corporate business to shove the costs down to the middleclass taxpayer to saddle the biggest burden.

Hey – Obama – whatever happened to not taxing the middleclass?  So far – every piece of shit legislation that has been pushed through by you socialist bastards taxes the middleclass.  Just as any fascist regime, yours builds up the richest companies and partners with them to make them and the government bigger and richer – meanwhile pushing we middleclass down – trying to “level” that playing field.  Yeah..the only leveling going on here is expanding the government elite and making everyone else the poor to become serfs to the government.

I’m on to you and I’m gonna make sure that everyone else knows what’s in this piece of shit bill as well.

Stay tuned folks – I’ll report back on the most egregious sections of this bill that you need to be made aware of.  I’ll also be posting up some more about what universal healthcare REALLY is.  The lefties just don’t get the fact that they will lose their freedom as well with this bill.  If they think our healthcare system sucks now – wait to European style socialist universal healthcare takes hold in America.

We need to vote this bill down and we need to make our voices heard.  If Obama takes over healthcare, he and the government will have control over 40% of all industry in this country. This will jump to almost 60% if he gets that crap and tax bill paid.  I’ll explain these numbers in a future post. When you figure the Bureau of Labor Statistics has only 19 Labor categories in this country – once I detail it out – you will see how I come to those numbers.

This administration is dangerous and giving them control over our healthcare is a tipping point.  When they control healthcare, they also get to dictate what you can and cannot eat, drink, and will even be able to control your lifestyle.  You can be turned away for healthcare if they deem your lifestyle to be risky.  This too will be detailed in a future post.

The BoBo Carnival of Politics – June 28, 2009 Edition

Posted by: The BoBo  //  Category: America, BoBo, Carnival, Congress, Conservative, Education, Elections, Iran, Israel, Liberals, Obama, Politics, Public School System, Russia, School, globalization, government, libertarian, marxism

Quite the week we’ve had so far! Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and now Billy Mays all dead.  Unfreakin’ believable!  I wish piece of shit crap and tax bill would have died as well!  Anyway – after a two week hiatus – The BoBo Carnival of Politics is back with another great edition.  Have at it people!

Conservative

The Smarter Wallet presents Dave Ramsey’s Town Hall For Hope posted at The Smarter Wallet, saying, “How does Dave Ramsey explain the financial crisis?”

You’ll see below in response to your credit card discussion that I mentioned I already paid off a few cards and have one left before I’m out of debt.  I went through the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University.  Dave Ramsey is awesome and what you have on your blog is absolutey right.  Once again, great post using a great resource.  I highly recommend it to anybody to view his Town Hall video and his Financial Peace University – especially in today’s economy.

Michael Bass presents Joe Tegerdine VS Gene Taylor! The Battle For Mississippi’s 4th Congressional District! posted at Debt Prison, saying, “Every now and then a person runs for office that gives us hope. For many voters in the last election Barack Obama was that person. Obama promised ambiguous ‘Change’ and the people bought it. Unfortunately, for many Obama fans and devout Democrats, his foreign policy actions and his further crack down on civil liberties has come to resemble something like George Bush part II.”

Interesting – hopefully, Tegerdine turns out to be a true conservative then maybe he can defeat that faux Democratic Conservative Taylor.

lsm presents Teddy?s Legacy Will Kill Us All posted at awaken the elephants blog.

LSM – excellent.  I have nothing further to add to this.

Scott Spiegel presents U.S. Invents Diabolical Weapon Called “Twitter” to Bring Down Iranian Regime posted at Scott Spiegel, saying, “President Obama said last week that he doesn’t want the U.S. to be seen as “meddling” in the recent Iranian presidential election. In his view, vocally supporting the protesters is comparable to the CIA’s coup against Mossadeq in 1953.”

Amen, brother!  We should be standing behind the Iranian citizens with the full faith and trust of our government and our own citizens.  Obama is wrong on this one.

Liberal

Madeleine Begun Kane presents Don’t Ask. Don’t Tell. Just Sign! posted at Mad Kane’s Political Madness.

Mad Kane – I’m sure I don’t need to say this – personally – I think this needs to be repealed entirely and have it back to what it was before Clinton instituted the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.  The UCMJ states that sodomy is a punishable offense as is any other forms of homosexual relations.  We don’t need gays OPENLY serving in the military.  This would be a huge bust for the morale of our military.  I’m sorry – but – the military is by no means ready for this and it would not be accepted.

Libertarian

Wenchypoo presents Just When You Thought You Ran Out of Hope posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket.

Bwahaha – Liberty Lentils – good one.

Miscellaneous

Bob Brooks presents Wall Street Execs Living Large While the Rest of the Country Hurts posted at Bob Brooks – Prudent Money Blog.

Don’t forget – Timothy “Turbo Tax” Geithner is a Goldman Sachs alumni himself and still has buddies there.  Nothing will be done.  Just more paybacks from this administration for these company’s providing material support for Obama.

Mikkal Travvis presents Ron Paul And The Federal Reserve posted at The Truth.

I don’t generally tend to side with Ron Paul on many issues.  I think he’s a nutjob with a lot of his positions.  However, I support him 100% with regards to doing away with the Federal Reserve and having them open their books.  The decision in the 30′s to hand over that much power to a private organization was by far one of the most idiotic things this country and our government has ever done.  It’s time to take that power away from them.

News

Terri Choate presents Trickle Down Learning posted at Plum Duff…not your ordinary gruel!, saying, “Maybe this is old news…but school districts regularly understate the money spent per pupil as they ask for more, more, more.”

Great article.  Public schools happens to be one of my “soap-box” issues.  While I don’t know what the per pupil cost is in my district – we have multiple layers of administration that are totally unnecessary.  Since when does a High School and Middle School need a freakin Assistant Principle for each grade and each of them having a secretary, etc etc – not to mention each grade having at least 2 “administrators” that handle discipline.  It’s gotten so ridiculous that most of our tax money goes to paying salaries instead of purchasing text books.  I sent four kids through public school.  2 graduated and 2 dropped out.  I’m sending my last 2 to private schools now.

Bradley Hankins presents Who Is Back? posted at Bradley Hankins, saying, “You was wondering when I was going to start up again. Well here I am.”

Welcome Back Bradley – looking forward to your analysis of the various bills.

The Smarter Wallet presents Applying For A Credit Card? Review The Credit Card Bill of Rights posted at The Digerati Life, saying, “Obama just signed into law some regulations that will help curb some of the unpopular practices done by the credit industry. Here’s what’s in the credit card bill of rights, which is under review by our government.”

Great words of advise for those who are thinking about getting a credit card.  I already cut up all mine and have paid them off.  I have one more to go then I’m out of credit card hell.  My advise is – use cash!  If you can’t afford to pay for it in cash – well – then in today’s economy – you really can’t afford it at all then.  Save for it instead.

Politics

Bradley Hankins presents Common Sense Foreign Policy: North Korea posted at Bradley Hankins, saying, “Common sense dealings with North Korea. Even more to come, just one was just too easy.”

You are absolutely right – we should not be looking to the international community to protect ourselves.  That is just plain ridiculous.  Great post.

NAOMI presents NEW AD AGAINST BENEFIT THIEVES posted at Diary From England.

Naomi – I’ll have to admit that I haven’t been paying real close attention to exactly what is going on over on your side of the big pond.  However, I have been following Daniel Hannen pretty closely so I get the point.  Unfortunately, we’re seeing a similar situation here in the U.S. – rather than second homes – our politicians get lifelong benefits and 100% salary after they retire and that even gets passed on to their spouses after they die and then the spouses collect 100% benefit and salary until they die.  Pretty freakin ridiculous that these politicians consider themselves so elite they can steal from we the people.

Bradley Hankins presents Transparency posted at Bradley Hankins, saying, “Honestly, putting legislation in plain English would help so much.”

Agreed!  However, this administration that promised transparency has given us none at all.

Jake presents Why the World Hates America (Part 1) posted at Global Implications, saying, “Given the negative attitude toward the United States around the world, I am writing a multi-part series on the actions of the US since World War II with the worst consequences. I will post an article every day and should finish the seven-part series on Friday, June 26.”

Jake – I hope you don’t mind but I took the liberty to post the links to the remaining articles.  This is a very interesting analysis.  However, I would say that we still have many more friends and allies than we do enemies.  It seems our only real enemies in the world are radical regimes. Please post up the last remaining parts in next week’s carnival! Personally, regarding Part 5 – I think we need to “unflinchingly” support Israel.  They are our only true ally in the middle east.  Being a former Hebrew Linguist in the Air Force – I understand Israel and the day-to-day struggles they have to face.  They are under constant terrorist attack every day.  They need our support and we should stand behind them all the way.

Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5

Ram Raghavan presents The incorrectness of political correctness posted at ramraghav.com, saying, “What is political correctness? What is its cause and its consequence?”

Ram – you are so totally right on with this post.  The only thing I would add here is that the history of Political Correctness actually has its roots in marxism and Russia.  Here’s another good resource for you on the history.

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of the bobo carnival of politics using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
