Author Okay – so it didn’t take very long for me to put up another post – so – one of the tools I use to get around this Blogosphere and to build credits is through EntreCard – well – I came across THIS POST! Holy Shitburgers Batman!
This bonehead is seriously trying to defend Socialism – yet claims to be a moderate – this is the definition of Socialism as found on that page:
Socialism
A political theory or system in which the means of production and distribution are controlled by the people and operated according to equity and fairness rather than market principles.
REALLY? What the HELL liberal education did this dolt get? I know my readers are smarter than this – but – just in case some of you other libs or moderates who got a healthy dose of liberal education – here is the REAL definition of Socialism straight from Merriam Webster’s Dictionary:
1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private propertyb : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional betweencapitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done
Now, those of you who know me – know that I don’t run away from a good fight like this – so – I left a comment. Unfortunately – this blogger does not publish comments. GEEZ I wonder why? 
Wherever that blogger got that quote – the originator made a very great attempt at cleaning up the fact that it is based in the MARXIST principle of government control and equal distribution!!! This bonehead finishes off the post with this amusing finale:
What makes the morality of needless suffering so terribly wrong when you are talking about someone you know and love but when you are talking about someone you don’t morally righteous?
The fact is we must have social interaction to be successful; rich or poor, young or old, man or woman, we all benefit from socialism. It has made us who we are today and is the key to our success. We all know this and the idea and practice of socialism can and should be the same at the macro level as well as the micro level.
Socialism is not a bad word; it is the way we progress and the way to success as a nation.
Dude – or – Dudette – whichever one you are – you are so totally confusing Sociology and Social Theory with Socialism! They are COMPLETELY different things. What you are attempting to describe – SOCIOLOGY and the science behind human interaction – is NOT anywhere near the same as SOCIALISM which is a form of government. I certainly understand your point that we are our brother’s keepers. However, this is through CHARITY – that which is based on kindness, empathy, and compassion – an individual’s freedom to choose to help those who need the help. You are confusing it with the Socialist theory of government forced redistribution of wealth – that is NOT Charity!

That is not Charity – and that is not American exceptionalism. It is our exceptionalism and our Republic Representative form of government where Capitalism is the engine driving this economy that allows us to be charitable as individuals. In case you missed this – the TOP 10 most charitable states are mostly CONSERVATIVE states and the bottom 10 charitable states are mostly LIBERAL states.
and – here is the analysis – from the same article:

Get it? Those that believe in self reliance, limited government, and on the true power of the people are the most charitable whereas those that are big government lemmings that believe in Marxism and Socialism are the least charitable. Paying taxes is not being charitable. Or as Davy Crockett put it:
I have as much respect for the memory of the deceased, and as much sympathy for the sufferings of the living, if suffering there be, as any man in this House, but we must not permit our respect for the dead or our sympathy for a part of the living to lead us into an act of injustice to the balance of the living. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has no power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it. We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money. …
We cannot, without the grossest corruption, appropriate this money as the payment of a debt. We have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as a charity. Mr. Speaker, I have said we have the right to give as much money of our own as we please. I am the poorest man on this floor. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week’s pay to the object, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks.
and he went on to say
The people have delegated to Congress, by the Constitution, the power to do certain things. To do these, it is authorized to collect and pay moneys, and for nothing else. Everything beyond this is usurpation, and a violation of the Constitution.

Before I get to the discussion – I received this in my e-mail from “M.F.” – it’s titled “Obama is taking this country in a “hole” new direction.”
Now – on to the real story – Journalist regales Wednesday Club with tales from the Obama campaign
The journalist is Charlie Hurt – a reporter for the New York Post. He was one of the first reporters that got thrown off the Obama campaign plane after months of following him around the world. He got kicked off the plane because he wrote a piece about Obama and stated “that Obama didn’t care about winning or losing in Iraq but just getting out.”
But – there are some VERY disturbing things in this piece. It is essentially an article covering Charlie Hurt giving a speech regarding his days with Obama. Once you get through all the fluff-n-stuff – we uncover some real nuggets that shows us not just how smart a political operator Obama is – but – just how dangerous he is:
“Obama ran such a brilliant campaign so full of hope and promise in these dreary times that it was hard for anyone not to see some light there. And the folks in my business rushed towards that light as if it were the only hope to be found.
“And it certainly didn’t hurt their cause that every reporter covering Obama knew exactly what they faced if they crossed the campaign’s propaganda police.”
From the cornfields of Iowa to the sands of the Middle East, Hurt followed Obama during the presidential primaries, giving Hurt a unique position to comment on the political tsunami that swept Obama into the White House.
Note the second paragraph there. The Obama campaign intentionally quashed dissenting opinion. Those who didn’t play the game were not going to get access. Despite what Obama has said about not bringing up the Fairness Doctrine again – the fact is – he has several Congressmen and Senators drafting legislation right now. Only – they aren’t going to call it the Fairness Doctrine – it’s a backdoor attempt around the FCC they are calling “localism.” Do you honestly think Obama won’t sign it in to law considering the way he treated reporters?
The rest of this piece is very chilling – it shows just how shrewd a man Obama is and how brilliantly his campaign “played” the masses. I’ll just post the rest here without any additional comment – you have to read it all for yourselves to grasp the full meaning of it. I have highlighted some sections to draw them to your attention.
On the campaign road
Enter a future president.
“Two years ago, Barack Obama was nothing more than a freshman senator from Illinois with two years in national office and some experience as a community organizer,” Hurt said. “And he had one very strange name, especially the middle one that we’re not allowed to utter.
“But it’s important to note what no one — especially Hillary Clinton — realized at that time. He was a gifted speaker, sure. But he was also a very shrewd political operator, very smart, very disciplined, very driven and very organized.
“We all had some great laughs listening to Sarah Palin ridicule this community organizer, but it was just that experience, magnified a thousand-fold by the Internet, that made Obama’s campaign the most brilliant in modern political history.”
Hurt said the first hint that things might not go as expected was “amid the vast cornfields of Iowa” as he trekked along with Clinton, Edwards and Obama.
Contrasting Clinton’s disorganized campaign with Obama’s “cool, hopeful and meticulously organized” campaign, Hurt related how Obama would spend 20 minutes at diners throughout the state, chatting with people, but leave in his wake “a smart political machine.”
“Long after Obama had left, campaign volunteers remained, talking to every person in Obama’s wake, vacuuming up names, phone numbers and email addresses of every person there,” Hurt said. “This information — pure gold for a smart political machine — was put into a massive and growing database and became the foundation of their grassroots organization.
“And he was doing the very same thing in every state across the country.”
Hurt followed Obama’s first world tour to Amman, Jordan, where Obama suddenly became shy about speaking in front of crowds, Hurt said sarcastically. “He wasn’t about to get seen in a cheering crowd of Muslims in Amman. Something about his middle name.”
After “tiptoeing through the minefields of the Middle East,” it was on to Europe, where Obama regained his “avowed love of speaking before huge crowds.”
“People traveled from all over Europe to see this man who wanted to be America’s president,” Hurt said. “And, just like American voters here, they filled the empty vessels of ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’ with their own ideas.
“An end to the Bush regime. An end to ugly American Imperialism. An end to this idea that radical Islamic Fascism is to be crushed with might.
“Obama really had put political magic in a bottle — the kind that every cheap politician dreams of: effortlessly being all things to all people.”
At an Obama speech at the Victory Column in Berlin, Hurt answered the invitation to go past heavily armed American commandos, up winding stone steps and onto the balcony underneath the Victory statue to look down on the crowd of 200,000.
It was there Hurt observed an eerie historical parallel.
“I walked to the railing and could see Obama’s little head,” Hurt said. “The crowd swelled around him, and as I looked more than a mile down the wide boulevard to the Brandenburg Gates, it was a sea of faces, standing in slack-jawed amazement of the One (sic) they had come to see.
“Now I don’t readily believe that Obama is some kind of Manchurian candidate, groomed to sneak in and dismantle the American Constitution. I think he honestly believes in what he says.
“But at that moment I was struck by the obvious: This was not the first time in this city that so many had assembled to hear — unquestioning — the hopeful, pleasing words of a great orator.”
Playing serious gamesThe well-oiled campaign continued, even as Obama accepted his party’s nomination in Denver, never leaving anything to chance and never failing to maximize an opportunity, Hurt said.
Sitting at the top of the Denver Broncos’ stadium, Hurt watched as a game hatched by the campaigners stretched Obama’s grasp, unbeknownst to the players.
“They put up on the JumboTrons huge maps of the United States and told everyone in the audience to use their cell phones to text the campaign,” Hurt said. “Each time a text came through, a little light popped up on the screen signifying where the person was from. Then they told the audience to text or call all their friends and family to do the same.
“It became a great game where everyone from New York was trying to outshine San Francisco, while people from Florida tried outshining the people from Chicago.”
But for the Obama team, it was no game.
“Just like the volunteers at the diner in Iowa, the Obama team was downloading the cell phone number of every person — the 80,000 there in the stadium and tens of thousands across the country — who were texting in as part of this little game,” Hurt said.
“Even as Obama was accepting the Democratic nomination, his campaign machine was still building the unstoppable force of volunteers, foot soldiers and voters that would carry him to historic victory.”
Just as Obama couldn’t seem to do anything wrong, the Republicans didn’t seem to do anything right.
Hurt admitted that the Republicans not only faced an uphill battle but also waged a “terrible campaign” as the “daily barrage of fawning coverage” the press supplied Obama played a major role in his win.
“What will be interesting to see is how Obama — notoriously thin-skinned — handles the press coverage when it turns — and it always turns — if things continue to muddle along the disturbing path we’re on,” Hurt concluded.
I just hope whoever comes up against him in 2012 gets a grasp of the technology as well. This country is screwed if we can’t find a way to compete and combat this tactic. He wants to control the media and the messages in the media, your healthcare, and your money – all of which he appears to be doing. What harm can that do? …and that would not be a pretty sight at all! Is there anybody else out there that is having an extremely hard time trying to keep up with everything that Obama and those Dems are doing up in D.C.? Every time I come across a news article, see something on the T.V. or hear something on the radio – I get an excellent idea for a blog discussion. But…no more than 10 minutes later something else comes up..and again and again and again.
I’m almost quite convinced that the White House is throwing all of this out there at one time just to keep our minds so totally boggled that we can’t possibly figure it all out. When you really start putting it all together it just absolutely makes my head want to explode because I just can’t keep track. I’m not even going to attempt to put all the links up to this list – because it could take me almost a freakin’ month alone to liste everything that Obama has thrown at us:
$787 Billion Spending Bill completely loaded with pork
$410 Billion Omnibus Bill completely loaded with pork
Secret videotaped messages to the AFL-CIO meeting declaring Congress WILL pass the “Employee Free Choice Act” doing away with secret ballots – a complete erosion of the constitution and violation of our privacy.
Healthcare Reform Summit stating that the debate is settled and there is nothing anybody can do about it – Universal Healthcare is coming to America.
Economic Reform Summit held where the end outcome is that there is not one smart individual in all of D.C. that can figure out that smaller government and lower taxes is the appropriate way to heal this economy.
Hillary Clinton, on behalf of Obama, delivering $900 Million to a terrorist organization so they can rearm themselves to lob more missiles in to Israel – and criticizing Israel while she handed them the check.
Iran is less than one month away from a nuclear bomb and Obama has not said one word about it.
Hillary Clinton, on behalf of Obama, goes to China to beg for money. Essentially, China is propping up this economy right. We will all be speaking Chinese shortly if they decided to call in our debt.
Obama sends a letter to Russia opening up dialog with them and hinting the U.S. might back down from the missile defense shield (a great sign of weakness).
John Kerry, on behalf of Obama, goes and visits with Asshat Bashir in Syria opening dialogs with another state sponsorer of terrorism.
Obama openly tells our enemies exactly what date we are withdrawing from Iraq – another great sign of weakness and inexperience.
Gordon Brown comes to visit Obama talking about a Global New World Order and it appears Obama is open to this socialist notion and giving up American sovereignty.
Four cabinet nominees are tax cheaters – and one of them actually gets appointed to oversee the very organization he cheated.
Several Anti-gun measures (in direct violation of the 2nd Amendment) being introduced in Congress.
FDIC in threat of going insolvent – you know – the agency that guarantees funds in your bank up to $250,000.00 to the point now they get a $500 Billion bailout.
Honest homeowners all around this country are bailing out other homeowners against their will.
Several Congress persons ready to introduce the Fairness Doctrine again – only they’re gonna call it something else.
Obama introduces proposal for bogus Cap and Trade scheme that would ensure inflation and increased energy prices.

The Governor of Kansas has been named as the Director of HHS – this is the same individual who has given free tuition, free healthcare, and amnesty to illegal aliens in her own state. She also shut down the building of new coal-fueled plants in her state. If she did it in her state – What do you think will happen to America?

Obama reversed all of the welfare reform policies that Clinton had in place – back to giving free handouts to free-loaders. We’re back to generational welfare recipients.
Expanded the SCHIP program to include “kids” up to age 25. Excuse me! If you are not a full-time student in college – if you are 18 years old – you better be out there looking for a job taking care of yourself and getting your own insurance. Last time I looked – 25 is not a kid. I had two kids of my own by the time I was 25.
Obama’s Director of Labor is extremely pro-union and pro-amnesty for illegal aliens. Do you think we’ll be rounding up illegal aliens and deporting them under an Obama presidency? Illegal aliens cost this country $80 Billion a year for crying out loud.
Obama’s Director of the EPA is a known socialist and was a leader within the socialist environmental global warming movement. She was extremely proud of that and even had her profile on the website – until they took it down after she was nominated to the EPA position. BTW – she’s one of those global warmongerers that also believe the “science is settled” and the “debate is over” despite all the evidence that has come out showing we have been in a cooling state for the last decade. Where do you think she’s going to lead this country?
His spending bill gives $500 tax rebate to those who don’t pay taxes at all. Sounds like wealth-redistribution to me – which I believe is a Marxist philosophy – but – oh noes – he ain’t no socialist is he?
Newly Added – Then there’s the Freedom of Choice Act that has been reintroduced that if enacted makes it illegal for medical practitioners to refuse to do abortions on moral grounds and also makes it illegal for pharmacists to refuse to dispense Plan-B and birth control pills on moral grounds. This would be an assault on their First Amendment rights to Freedom of Religion. Additionally, the Hippocratic oath taken by physicians say they will do no harm. Some physicians view abortion as doing harm. This essentially will cause the 600+ Catholic hospitals around this country to be shut down.
Good lord people! And those are just the stories that are coming off the top of my head that I KNOW of!!! How can one man do so much damage in less than 60 days? There wasn’t this much freakin’ activity in the whole 8 years Bush was in office!!! There are a helluva lot more stories out there that I have forgotten about and I’m sure there are even more that I don’t KNOW about – with much much more to come given we still have 3 Years and 10 months to go in this first term.
Is it any wonder this economy is tanking? Individually, these all seem harmful in their own right. But – collectively – my God people – look at all of this!!! For those of you on the left that think Obama is not a socialist – just look at all the stories. Every one of them lead us down that path. You guys on the left who so cherish your liberties are about to get a very rude awakening. All of Obama’s policies thus far lead to more government intrusion of your privacy and giving you less control of your own decisions. Where is the ACLU on this? Perhaps they haven’t fully understood it yet either.
Come on people – wake up! WE ALL heard these stories throughout the past 2 months – but – have you ever seen them all just listed out yet? Where do you think all of these stories and the actions of Obama and his administration are leading us? If you can think of some stories that I forgot or don’t know about – please post them here in the comments – I’ll drag them up in to the main discussion for all to see and ponder.

Well – here I sit listening to the crap that Obama is spewing tonight. Hs speech is so disingenuous it’s not even funny. Sure, in one breath he says the recovery of this economy requires action and not to look back at other administrations, then in the other breath he blames only Republican administration era policies for the problems. When he was talking about how we got to this mess – he talked about energy independence – but – never once brought up drilling for oil – he’s implying green energy only…nor did he bring up the failed Clinton policy allowing (forcing) banks to give loans to people without first verifying income, identity, employment, or the ability to pay. When he’s talking about helping responsible homeowners – he’s talking about allowing those who are upside down on their mortgage refinance on my dime even if they’re not struggling to pay their bills. How the hell is that even fiscally responsible?
In the meantime – I received an e-mail from one of my commentors – Robert Foster – with a link to a youtube video that he created. It is titled An American Fairytale – A Tale of Warning – And of Hope. It is his illustration of a narration by Glenn Beck of a story written by a Dr. John Rossi. When I first heard this narration back in November on the radio it really struck a nerve with me. It touched me and it has been with me for a while. I am so glad that Robert found this blog and shared that video with me. It is now my turn to share it with all of you. If you like it – please either link back here to it – or – steal it for yourselves and post it up.
Watching this while listening to the Obamessiah really sends this message home. That’s exactly how I feel right now! Kinda like those dudes from that movie. It seems like things were going swimmingly in the 80′s. I was having a great time. The economy was booming, the music was great, Russia tore down the Berlin Wall, The Soviet Union disintegrated, I had pac-man fever, you name it – it was great.
Then came the 90′s and the Clintons. Apparently, I must have partied my way through it, self-medicating all the way to forget the woes that befell myself and my family. I was on the unemployment line twice during that period. One time for 6 months and another for 2 months. I came close to losing my home to foreclosure, had a car repossessed, had a 2d child born during that time on Medicaid because I couldn’t afford insurance (since I was freakin’ unemployed!) and was struggling just to put food on the table. I was robbing Peter to pay Paul! But, hey! At least I found out that oral SEX wasn’t really SEX!! So – dazed, confused, and self-medicating all the way through the 90′s, I apparently passed out along the way.
The Millenium passed without a hitch – the Y2K global computer crash never came to pass and I woke up – somewhat still dazed – but got up on my feet again. Bush was elected in to office. It started off okay. I was still limping a bit from the 90′s and somewhat skittish to commit to full engagement with the world – then I was dragged in to it kicking and screaming on September 11, 2001. For about a month – our country was united! Everyone had a common goal – to get those bastards that attacked us. Then – everyone else fell asleep – but I was wide awake. Here I am now – looking out the world’s window and I see something so different than it was before. All I can say is, Dude! Where’s my country?
I received this e-mail from one of my e-mail subscribers – we’ll call him Mr. Ed (no, not the talking horse) – he knows who he is – I won’t use his last name to protect him – we wouldn’t want others to know he’s associated himself with a nutty clown!
President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on terrorism. But the mistake was not his decision to go to war in Iraq. Bush’s mistake came in his belief that this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII. It is not. Back then, they had just come out of a vicious depression. The country was steeled by the hardship of that depression, but they still believed fervently in this country. They knew that the people had elected their leaders, so it was the people’s duty to back those leaders.
Therefore, when the war broke out the people came together, rallied behind, and stuck with their leaders, whether they had voted for them or not or whether the war was going badly or not. And war was just as distasteful and the anguish just as great then as it is today. Often there were more casualties in one day in WWII than we have had in the entire Iraq war. But that did not matter. The people stuck with the President because it was their patriotic duty. Americans put aside their differences in WWII and worked together to win that war. Everyone from every strata of society, from young to old pitched in. Small children pulled little wagons around to gather scrap metal for the war effort. Grade school students saved their pennies to buy stamps for war bonds to help the effort.
Men who were too old or medically 4F lied about their age or condition trying their best to join the military. Women doubled their work to keep things going at home. Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline to soap, to butter was imposed, yet there was very little complaining. You never heard prominent people on the radio belittling the President. Interestingly enough in those days there were no fat cat actors and entertainers who ran off to visit and fawn over dictators of hostile countries and complain to them about our President. Instead, they made upbeat films and entertained our troops to help the troops’ morale. And a bunch of those actors even enlisted.
And imagine this: Teachers in schools actually started the day off with a Pledge of Allegiance, and with prayers for our country and our troops! Back then, no newspaper would have dared point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage. No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies. A newspaper would have been laughed out of existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being ‘tortured’ by being forced to wear women’s underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog or did not have air conditioning.
There were a lot of things different back then. We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography, perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio. We did not have legions of crack heads, dope pushers and armed gangs roaming our streets.
No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling of terrorism. He made the mistake of believing that we still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers. He believed that this was still the country that our fathers fought so dearly to preserve.
It is not the same country. It is now a cross between Sodom and Gomorra and the land of Oz. We did unite for a short while after 9/11, but our attitude changed when we found out that defending our country would require some sacrifices. We are in great danger. The terrorists are fanatic Muslims. They believe that it is okay, even their duty, to kill anyone who will not convert to Islam. It has been estimated that about one third or over three hundred million Muslims are sympathetic to the terrorists cause… Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many potential recruits. So… We either win it – or lose it – and you ain’t gonna like losing.
America is not at war.
The military is at war.
America is at the mall.
Unfortunately, this is so sadly true. I listen to the news and radio talk show to and from work – and all I can do is shake my head and wonder what the hell happened to this great country. It was reported today that yet again the New York Times is spilling secrets! This time they announced our plans for hunting down Obama Osama Bin Laden. Go figure!
I also have to sit back and wonder why are there so many people so willing to listen to a snake oil salesman pushing nothing but “Hope and Change” and they’re all buying it hook, line, and sinker! This country was once a great democracy and republic where men and women worked hard to get ahead and accepted responsibility for their actions. Blood, sweat, and toil built this country – and – no – I’m not referring to slavery. I’m talking about the great expansion westward. We were industrialists, farmers, and Americans! We used our hands and skills to build everything and did not look to the government to help us. Now, a majority of this country seems to be so willing to move towards socialism! Political correctness has taken over the language. Hell, we can’t even pass a bill to formerly make English the national language because it’s discriminatory!
Too many people out there have become fat, lazy, and complacent willing to just sit around that idiot box and complain that Corporate America owns this country and the government needs to fix it. The only way the government can fix this country is to GET THE HELL OUTTA THE WAY! The problems we are having are BECAUSE of the government. They have created so many laws, rules, regulations, codes, etc – that we can’t advance this great nation any longer. We have people supporting Obama because he will “change” the way they do business in Washington. They WANT the government to take care of them. They WANT the government to give them free healthcare (but, it ain’t free is it – we hardworking taxpayers are actually paying for it). They WANT the government to take over the oil companies. They WANT the government to bail them out of their mortgages even though it was their fault for buying a home they knew the couldn’t afford on terms they knew they couldn’t meet. They WANT the government to create and enforce “Green Laws.”
Again, I have to ask – Dude, Where’s my country? This is not what our founding fathers saw for our future. They envisioned a nation of free-thinkers, independent from Government control and rule. They escaped from England for the sole purpose of being able to live freely without interference from the King. They created a constitution that limited the powers of the Government and gave all that power to the people. So, why and how is it the Government now has ALL the power? If you don’t think so, try to not pay your taxes one year. Try to cut down a tree in front of your house without a permit. Try to go hunting without a license. Try saying a prayer out loud in a public school. Try displaying any symbol of Christianity in any public venue. It seems the only ones in this country who can break the laws and not be punished are those who are here illegally sapping up all of our resources and living off the American taxpayer.
We have given over the national security of this country to foreignors. We are wildly dependent on Mexico, Canada, and the Middle East for our energy needs when we have all the resources to be 100% independent in our own country! Our national landmarks and major corporate buildings are being bought out by foreign investors from Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands. The majority of our consumer goods are now being manufactured in China. Our mainstay convenience stores are owned by the Japanese and supplying gasoline made from Venezuelan oil.
Almost every single independently owned gas station in this country is owned either by Indians (no, not the natives) or Middle-easterners. Local hair & nail salons are owned by the Koreans. I think all the food court kiosks are owned by the same chinese people. Have you ever noticed that regardless of what kiosk it is (other than Chic-fil-A, BK, or McDonald’s) there are chinese people behind the counter? The top spots of some of our finest higher education institutions are going to foreignors on student visas and 100% paid American taxpayer funded grants – yet – we can’t seem to get our own students in to community colleges because they’ve been so dumbed down by an inept liberal education system they can’t get the necessary SAT scores to qualify for the better schools. It looks like the only one’s living the American Dream are the foreignors.
I haven’t been living on this planet for very long. However, I do read books, I listen to the radio, I study history, I read the newspapers, and I stay in touch with the latest advancements in technology. What I see today is not a country that I recognize any longer. We are already on a path towards socialism. The Democrats should just change their party to the Socialists and the Republicans can be the Democrats now. Those of us on the right who still live with conservative values and morals are becoming a small bunch. It seems more people are left-leaning than ever. What is confusing is that recent Rasmussen poll stated that 62% of this country want less social services and lower taxes – yet they are so willing to vote in a socialist who admittedly associated himself with Marxist professors in college. If they vote in Obama, we will undoubtedly become a socialist nation while the rest of the world is moving towards independence and capitalism. It’s been proven that socialism, communism, and marxism does not work. The only one’s who have the power and the money under those systems are the elite politicians. The little people suffer greatly – yet – that’s the way this country is headed!

…and they fainted…and they drank from the spiked kool-aid fountain…and…they continue to deny the truth about him. He’s a socialist with marxist views and his only goal is to further the black-liberation theology. He’s using “white-guilt” to further his cause. He knows there are enough “whiteys” out there who hate this country as much as he does and feels ashamed for an event that occurred 200+ years ago and will do and say anything to try to prove they are not racists.
Being the true conservative that I am I have a subscription to National Review. This month’s issue is dedicated to Obama’s history, background, and what he really believes. Stanley Kurtz wrote an excellent article titled “True Believer: Obama was for black-liberation theology before he was against it.” He details Obama’s history and his connections to Wright, Pfleger, and interestingly, Madeline Talbott. I bet you hadn’t heard that last name yet have you? Madeline Talbott was the radical leader and organizer of the Chicago chapter of ACORN. She was known for her intimidation and illegal acts to further her activist community organization causes. ACORN stands for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. I know you have all read and heard that Obama started off his political career as a Community Organizer. Now you know how he became associated with one of the most radical community organizer activists in the country.
Kurtz further details Obama’s history by reviewing a background piece on Obama from 1995. It was written by Hank De Zutter from the Chicago Reader and was titled “What Makes Obama Run?” De Zutter followed Obama closely in those early days and conducted an interview with him for that article. He states that Obama “rejects the unrealistic politics of integrationist assimiliation – which helps a few upwardly mobile blacks to ‘move up, get rich, and moveout.’” In other words, Obama sees opportunities for blacks in America as a one-way street – either assimilate with the white-man’s world or fail. De Zutter further states that “Obama says he is ‘tired of seeing the moral fervor of black folks whipped up – at the speakers’ rostrum and from the pulpit-and then allowed to dissipate because there’s no agenda, no concrete program for change.’” This means that Obama was tired of the fire and brimstone speeches without the follow-up to encourage social change – to further the black-liberation theology. This is where we begin to see that Obama would come to support the idea of the firebranded hate speech from Wright, Pfleger and Farrakhan.
What we see here, as far back as 13 years ago, is that Obama did indeed agree with his pastor’s views. De Zutter further added, in regards to his association with Talbott, she stated publicly that “Barack has proven himself among our members…we accept and respect him as a kindred spirit, a fellow organizer.” Wouldn’t you assume that for a radical organizer to accept another individual as “a kindred spirit” and “a fellow organizer” that person would have to be of like mind and in full support of their efforts – no matter how those efforts were put forth? Many of ACORN’s and Obama’s community organizing projects were supported and “funded by south-side Catholic churches.” Can you guess who’s church was one of the primary supporters? Yup, you guessed it – Father Pfleger. It was during this time that Obama solidified his relationship with this other radical purveyor of pulpit anti-white hate speech.
While Kurtz details further more of Obama’s views of radicalism and his associations with Pfleger and Talbott – he points to a 1988 article that Obama himself wrote titled “Why Organize? Problems and Promise in the Inner City” He wrote this just after he joined the Trinity Church. Here’s what Obama wrote:
From W.E.B. DuBois to Booker T. Washington to Marcus Garvey to Malcolm X to Martin Luther King, this internal debate has raged between integration and nationalism, between accommodation and militancy, between sit-down strikes and boardroom negotiations.”
You can see here what he is leading up to – the ideology of passive resistance versus radical engagement. Which way do you think Obama was leaning? Here’s some more of Obama’s own words:
Nowhere is the promise of organizing more apparent than in traditional black churches. Possessing tremendous financial resources, membership and – most importantly – values and biblical traditions that call for empowerment and liberation, the black church is clearly a slumbering giant in the political and economic landscape of cities like Chicago.
Wow – he wrote that 20 years ago? It sure sounds like he was fomenting radicalizing black churches. Kinda sounds like words from Malcom X and Farrakhan doesn’t it? Does anyone out there still believe that he does not share the views of Wright and Pfleger? Well – here’s what else he says:
Over the past few years, however, more and more young and forward-thinking pastors have begun to look at community organizations such as the Developing Communities Project in the far south side…as a powerful tool for living the social gospel, one which can educate and empower entire congregations and not just serve as a platform for a few prophetic leaders. Should a mere 50 prominent black churches, out of thousands that exist in cities like Chicago, decide to collaborate with a trained and organized staff, enormous positive changes could be wrought.
Hmmm – who do you think those “young and forward-thinking pastors” are that he’s talking about? Also, when he’s talking about “the social gospel” he’s talking about black-liberation theology. When most of us go to church we hear about the gospel and words of Christ our savior – not advancing social policies. Furthermore, when he’s talking about “enormous positive changes” he’s not talking about society as a whole – he’s only talking about advancing the cause of black-Americans.
Obama has been a member of Trinity church for over 20 years. He only recently rejected his church. But, it wasn’t because he no longer “knows his pastor” and because he never heard those types of sermons (for indeed he has), but for political expediency. He wants to get in to the White House to further his agenda of black-liberation and nothing else. You don’t associate yourself with radical organizers for 20 years – and all of a sudden reject them and their views and ideas.
Obama has an entire flock of sheep following him right now. He looks good, sounds good, and says all the right things to pull them in. But, not one of them are looking at who he is and not one of them are asking what it is he really believes. The MSM refuses to look into his history and absolutely refuses to hold his feet to the fire and ask him about his own writings, speeches, and associations in which he furthers this radical black-liberation theology.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for anyone bettering themselves, be you black, white, red, yellow, brown, green, or any other color under this rainbow. However, I am a firm believer that you gain success through your own accomplishments and hard work. Obama believes the only way for a black man to succeed is to take whitey and “the man” (government) down and seize that power by whatever means necessary. He wants to rule the government in order to change the laws to favor blacks only and give them subsidies and more entitlements (as if there aren’t enough already).
So – while his sheep are crying and bowing at his feet every time he speaks – he utters one lie after another – never questioned about anything. It’s no wonder his wife has made the statements she has – she is just like Obama. In the meantime – Democrats are going to vote for him just because he’s a Democrat and because he’s not McCain. Hillary has even agreed to stump for him. As we have all heard, a vast majority of her supporters have already stated they will not vote for Obama. I guess she’s taking one for the team to try to win them over. There really was not that much difference between them during the campaign. The problem is – Obama IS more radical and far more liberal and left that Hillary is. I only hope that enough Democrats out there remember what he has outwardly stated and will do the right thing come November. The more I read about this guy, the closer I’m getting to vote for McCain just to make sure Obama does not get in the White House. This guy is REALLY scary!
